  1. 5/5Easy to Understand

The interface is easy to navigate and provides many options for determining the travel modes available. Designed to allow you to plan your trip in a way that makes sense to you. The menus and map are interactive so you can find options using the lookup, making selections in the menus or finding the destination on the map and selecting it to plan your trip. You can lookup destinations by name, or my finding it on the map. Apparently this app is new to the Washington DC area, but is well established in other metropolitan locations. Highly recommend.

  2. 5/5Great metro app

I started using this app about a month after I moved to DC. It’s by far the best app for the WMATA metro and bus network, and it has a super easy and intuitive interface. The free version works perfectly fine for my daily needs, but the free trial was also super cool if it’s something you want to spend the money on.

  3. 5/5The Best DC Transit App

It gives you a full route from beginning to end, accurate ETAs, accurate live updates. This is the most user-friendly DC metro app you’re going to find on the App Store, imo. I’ve tried a few of the others. This one is the best by far. 🙏🏽

    Sky-gaze · 6 Aug 2026

  4. 5/5Great app - give it a try!

Downloaded app when I visited DC for the weekend. It helped me get around and save $$ by using the bus. The free version was enough for my visit, but the 7 day free trial is worth trying.

    Short_Trip · 6 Aug 2026

  5. 3/5Completely down for the past few days

It has usually always worked well but for the past few days every single bus route has been being displayed as "no current departures" even though the buses are clearly running.
