5/5Genuinely necessary for my DBT journey
I love the DBT process and find it to be perfectly suited for how I view the world and the skills I KNOW I need to improve. That said, I have a huge workbook/binder to work through for all my DBT dairies and skills tracking. Using a physical medium is never my first choice, so I rarely if ever get around to logging things at all, or at least in the moment as should be done. This lets me check in nightly, whenever it strikes me to, and do proper diary cards and get reminders to practice my skills. Without the app, I genuinely wouldn’t have made a quarter of the progress I have with my DBT therapy process. On a more practical note, the UI/UX design is great. It’s accessible, easy to read, pictures are nice, the reminders and dashboard are good, and the color selection differentiates from sections really well. If a dev ever reads this, don’t mess with a good thing, you’ve nailed how the app looks and feels!

4/5Critique Review
I have been using this app since 2021. Granted it is the free version. Maybe I should pay for the app and then it would be 5 stars. My main complaint, again free version user here, is I cannot edit or add my own tabs for, “Thoughts//Urges, Emotions/Feelings, Actions/Behaviors or Activities.” It would be nice if I could add a few of my own selections and I would feel much more personal using this app. Because I can’t do that I now skip the sections listed above and do not journal because I can’t track everything accurately. I used to do it all but not so much anymore. I need to be better at that. Everything else that is locked doesn’t bother me. But, what I listed above does bother me. That’s all. Besides that it is a 5 star app. But it is getting a 4 star review. I definitely recommend this app otherwise.

2/5So many issues
My therapist recommended this app to me so I can complete the diary cards. But, I’ve had so many errors and issues, some with accessibility due to me being disabled and others just trying to simply use the app. They fix the constant logout issues, and I had to adjust my personal settings to lower the tech size because it does not auto adjust to text, but now I can’t even tap and simply edit the date of the diary card since the new update? I understand this is a feature rich app and they’re doing their best to help people, but all these errors and issues are so frustrating and the fact that I have to pay to get some of these features with all these issues, doesn’t make it worth it. I will try to wait for the next update and see if that fixes the issue however I am not interested to continue to use the product if this is going to be a continuous problem for such an expensive subscription.

5/5Very helpful
I have had the app for about 3 weeks and I love it. I have been increasingly use his. I can't think of any other app I have done with except maybe Facebook when I went throught a invalidation phase. I have been in DBT and I know it well. But the videos in this app are awesome and like how they break the skills into digestible pieces. Diary card is very well designed and love the timeline view of entries where I can see everything I've done in one screen. I just shared the app with my therapist and she is excited too. I am able to share my diary card entries via the app (only what I want to share with her) and she sees it on the clinician app in real time. I would pay the subscription fee for this feature alone. I do have a Product / IT background and I know how hard it is to build that. Great job developers - thank you doing this for the DBT community and I hope a lot of them benefit from this.

5/5Love this app
I have used DBT Coach for several months now & have really enjoyed this app & it really has helped me & helped to keep me more in track. There are a lot of things available for free in the app. It’s not an app that lies about being free to use. Most apps say free or in-app purchases but in-app purchases can mean anything. They do have to charge for premium features - given what it takes to build an app like this. A session of DBT therapist is $180 / hr. I will gladly spend this money on the app and have access to it for 18 months. I do see a therapist regularly and share my data with the therapist and both of us recognize how much this app has helped in my progress. I usually don't write reviews, but given how responsive their customer support was (when I had a sharing issue), I had to give them a shout out. I make a prediction here that this app may become THE BEST MENTAL HEALTH APP
