5/5Love Sharing the countdown for fun trips
I schedule trips and family visits in this app…sharing the countdown and building the excitement as time draws near. We all get busy and time sneaks up on us. This app also ensure no last minute rushes. It also help answer those “when did we go” questions that come up from time to time as we can also look back at the “how long since” data. Trips and important dates no longer gets lost in busy calendars of life. Adding a photo is meaningful for multiple important dates approaching and adding hype. Love this app. Easy to use and no annoying ads, pop ups or subscriptions. Recommended highly.

2/5Black Widgets and Large fonts
I have used this app for a few years now and I’ve always loved it. It’s nice to always have something to look forward to, but this week my widget app with my countdown suddenly turned black and I have yet to figure out what’s going on. I want to continue to use the app, but I mainly used it for the widgets I was able to add on my home screen. If I can’t do that anymore, I will have to look into getting another app with the same functionality. Update: I saw a review stating restarting your phone helps and that worked for me! Will continue using the app for now… Update: I’ve used this app for years and I think I’m finally deleting it. The update brought the ugliest font for free users with not even an option or two to change or choose from. There’s no reason I should have to pay to be able to have a font that won’t recover the entire widget screen. I’m very disappointed as I’ve always loved this app and having things I can look forward to as a reminder on my phone. I’ll be finding something else.

The app looked promising enough to subscribe. I had downloaded this one specifically for the live countdown share ability. Unfortunately, when I go to share the link take you to a broken page for the person I shared it to. I tried sharing via the main share option at the top of the event page and through the menu pop up which generated a different link. It was still the same result. I figured it was a big and tried connecting support and followed the AI generated recommended step to resolve the issue. However, when I reinstalled the app it does not even register my subscription now and is prompting me to pay after I specifically selected to “keep my subscription” upon deleting the app. Again, I tried the support page to report an issue but when I login I get another error. There’s no way to even contact the developer about the issue. I didn’t want to give 1 star because it was promising but this is disappointing when the app doesn’t work for what I downloaded it for.

3/5Just a couple little things
There are so many things that I like about this app: ease of use, red button on badge, simplicity. But, there are just a couple of things that drive me a little nuts. 1. As so many others have mentioned, I’d love to have the ability to customize just a little with font size, color, adapt the photo just a touch. 2. But the second one is actually a problem. I emailed about this and have not received any word back. The number of days my badge shows is different than the number when I open the app up (the inside number is accurate). The badge number seems to get “stuck” I’ve had it be off by as many as 3 days and when one of the things that I like about the app is that it is so simple to just turn my screen on and there’s the count-down, this definitely results in my satisfaction decreasing.

5/5Get this app! Seriously!
This is the best app I’ve downloaded EVER for a countdown! ZERO ADS, EASY TO USE, FREE VERSION IS AMAZING! I honestly thought I paid for the Pro version, and I don’t even mind doing that as it is very reasonably priced at the time I’m writing this! My only reason for not getting it is because I’m unsure of how frequent I’ll be using this app, especially after my special event passes, but the app is so good to where I’m even adding things I never care to countdown for, such as birthdays and holidays! The developers did an amazing job with this app. I rarely write reviews, even for my most used and favorite apps, but this app I encourage anyone to get.

Hide events from your widgets Got an event you'd rather not see on your home screen? You can now hide any event from your widgets. Open the event, tap the "..." menu, and choose Hide from Widgets — it stays in the app, but your Next Event and category widgets will skip past it. Also in this release: • The prompt asking you to rate Days was appearing far more often than it should. It now shows at most once a month. • Other bug fixes and improvements.
