so the first day that I got my LED lights, this app worked perfectly but then the next day when I turn my LED lights off it didn’t work at all. It says it cannot connect to the Bluetooth and it was really annoying me and it said get the newer version of the app, but I cannot find the newer version of this app but besides this app is a really good and the remote that I came with doesn’t work at all. It works sometimes, but I have to press the buttons like a bunch for it to work and I also tried to turn it on with the on button when it wouldn’t work on the Bluetooth and that didn’t work either.

2/5DONT DOWNLOAD ON 2 DIVICES
TLDR: if u get the app on a 2nd device and log in, trying to log back on the first decide breaks the app for both divices and you’re no longer able to control the lights, turning Bluetooth off and on, airplane mode off and on, deleting, unplugging and resetting either devices/the lights doesn’t fix it. I first had the app on my phone and it worked properly, I got an iPad for Christmas and wanted to try getting the app on my iPad too so I can control it from either or. The second I logged in on my iPad, I got kicked out on my phone, I just used my iPad to control the lights which worked fine but I still wanted to use my phone so I deleted it and redownloaded it on my phone. And got logged back out on my iPad once I logged in on my phone, but the app didn’t let me control the lights anymore from my phone, it doesn’t matter what I used now, deleting the app or not, I can’t get past the log in screen and I’m almost certain that even if I was lucky enough to get past it, I wouldnt even be able to control the lights.(I tried unplugging the lights and plugging them back in, it didn’t work, I also read the manual, the manual doesn’t say anything abt this and the only solution in it doesn’t work)

1/5It disconnects the lights every time I open up the app
It disconnects the lights every time I open up the app now! I’m so frustrated I’ve spent 2 whole days trying to re add the lights to the app, once it’s added it disconnects and then the remote doesn’t even work! I have to unplug from the wall and plug back in in order to use remote. I’ve deleted the app, redownloaded, deleted, redownloaded and still NOTHING works anymore!! I have 3 different light strips I have attached to it and it used to work like literally last week but all of a sudden none of them stay connected or on whenever the app is up. Please fix!!! I can’t even download a different app because daybetter lights apparently can’t even be reset or paired with anything else (took me 2 long days to find that out). I can’t keep buying new lights. PLEASE FIX!!

1/5Poor Quality All Around
Both the app and the lights have frequent issues with Bluetooth connectivity and overall functionality. I keep my lights one one color, however the device continues to change its own settings and causes the lights to flash and/or rotate colors. As someone with epilepsy I purchased these to keep lower lighting levels in my home as overhead lighting can be too harsh and can trigger seizures, but it completely defeats the whole purpose when they gain a mind if their own and start flashing and turning itself on or off at random moments. Additionally, sections of the light strip malfunctioned almost immediately after my purchase and show the wrong color or color. I highly recommend trying other brands and avoiding purchasing these lights as the quality is very poor.

4/5pretty good, but...
Something I feel like would be a MAJOR upgrade would be to add a dark mode. Because, as an individual who uses this app and uses dark mode on a lot of stuff, the brightness of the app itself really hurts my eyes every time I open it. I always have to turn my brightness down really low just so I can turn down my lights before going to bed, so I'm not having to squint, and I feel as if this could easily be fixed with a dark mode to make it a lot more friendly. Sorry if this message is hard to understand, but this is the best I can do. Overall, it's a good app though.
