  1. 4/5Sub required for Small Widget

The app alone won’t show your data usage in the small size widget. You have to have a monthly subscription for that functionality. Odd that they would draw a line there. No? This was not obvious before purchase. You can still see the medium size widget with info though. Not a problem with a big phone. I have an SE so screen org gets tricky. Would have been nice to be able to use the small widget but that’s where they decided to draw the pay line and I got caught on the other side. For 99c it’s worth it. I spend to much time on this stupid phone anyway. And hopefully this app will help me not spend so much time that I go over my data plan. Which is the point after all. My issue is mostly cosmetic. With a dash of salt for the functionality restriction hidden behind the paywall. Three stars for now. Will update if it saves my a$& for me.

  2. 4/5Lacks breakout of hotspot usage

With latest iPhones there is no option to either manually reset data usage nor can you set the billing cycle to match the provider. Unlimited only refers to high speed data, especially for hotspot. The app loses a star for not reporting Hotspot data independently from overall data usage. If that were included in the subscribe version it would be worth it to me. Would be willing to help test this

  3. 5/5NEEDED FOR ANY iPHONE!!!

I've had this app since day one of having an iPhone and has kept me from going over my mobile data! No need to remember to reset the data counter that comes on every Apple device RIGHT at midnight when your cycle date ends...this app does it for you. I've compared my mobile data usage on my cellphone bill to this app and it's SPOT ON every time! Highly recommend this app for anyone who wants to keep track on their usage and can customize each alert to your liking... And also can customize everything else including: color, fonts, data usage alerts up to 5 times for 5 different percentage of usage of your allotted mobile data, and much more!

  4. 1/5Bait-and-Switch – $0.99 Gets You Almost Nothing But Aggressive Upsell

UPDATE in response to developer: Thanks for the reply, but I have a screenshot of the pop-up triggered when I tapped “Font.” It promoted a Bonus Gift with Winter Wonderland and DONKEY Bounce — clear game content inside a paid app. Whether technically an ad or cross-promo, it’s irrelevant — it didn’t belong there and disrupted use of a utility I paid for. Also, your claim that the subscription model is clearly stated on the product page is weak, to put it generously. At no point was it made obvious that $0.99 only unlocked a crippled version, with nearly everything useful locked behind a second payment. That’s the problem — not privacy, not ads per se, but a misleading upsell loop in a paid download. Please just own the issue. It’s not about technicalities — it’s about trust. ----- I paid $0.99 thinking I was unlocking a full-featured data tracker. Instead, I got a barebones version with basic visuals and no real utility. To access what most people would reasonably expect from a paid app — like usage history, push alerts, multiple plans, or billing period customization — you have to subscribe again for $0.99/month or $9.99/year. Even worse, I got hit with a pop-up ad promoting unrelated games. In a paid app. That’s unacceptable. There was no clear indication upfront that the $0.99 purchase was just a teaser. It feels deceptive — a bait-and-subscribe model pretending to be a one-time paid app. Requesting a refund. If you’re looking for a trustworthy data tracker, look elsewhere unless you’re prepared to pay twice for basic functionality and still get ads.

  5. 5/5Best Cellular and WiFi usage app!

I love this app and its features. The ability to not only track cellular but WiFi as well is really handy. The widgets for the phone and watch app are useful and are accurately responsive. The app doesn’t chew through battery, is responsive and accurate. I also thinks the added optional in app purchases are worth it. Especially the ability to see hourly data usage and export the whole data sheet. I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to see the phone cellular and WiFi usage
