3/5Why promote live feed
Why promote a livestream when you know it won't maintain during shows? Our studio had DB come out to recital to film and livestream. We were charged for both and yet livestream failed to work. DB was made aware but nothing was fixed, nothing brought back online. Family who couldn't travel to see the recital missed it completely. They couldn't live in the moment and call/text/congratulate the dancers. Now they have to create accounts to watch it weeks later?! There's got to be a better solution. Reading reviews, this is a constant issue!!

2/5Great in theory but in practice it fails
In theory this is an awesome concept. Can track and watch competitions in real time along with all competition info in one place. The livestreams are just horrible; constantly buffering and losing connection. The live schedule is also always off of what number is actually on stage. I get that delays and things happen but to actually keep the live schedule accurate or close to accurate doesn’t seem that difficult. It was 15 numbers off at one point, saying that #360 is on stage and the live stream is showing the 340’s. What’s the point of this feature if it’s so inaccurate? The app has come a long way since it’s inception but still has a lot of work to be done

1/5Works, but doesn’t work
So my mom told me to download this because this because I’m at a competition but can’t see because there’s someone blocking my vision I got it set up, then I got on the livestream for the competition I’m at, but the thing is, there’s a delay, and I don’t mean a 1 or 2 second delay, I mean I was watching it then went back to a part that happened like HALF AN HOUR AGO and I can’t even watch it because of there not being any sound because I can already hear it because I’m at the competition and I don’t want the echo effect or for the sounds to be moshed together so I barely know what’s going on and when watching it randomly paused and I couldn’t unpause it, and it took forever to get on, don’t even THINK about getting this.

1/5Horrible when it comes to livestream
The livestream is probably one of the worst functions of this app. Besides videos uploading from the competition taking a while to upload the livestream is by far the worst thing you can sign into. Constant glitching and audio coming in and out as well as the app just crashing. It’s quite terrible when you’re trying to watch and cheer on when not being able to be there in person. Very disappointing for how much money is spent for the purple membership as well as all access to photos and videos from the competition. You would think the livestream would be included with that with it being functional but unfortunately that is not the case.

5/5Excellent!
We have used DanceBUG for years and each season it has been one of the easiest ways to get our dance completion media! My daughter graduated this year and we forgot to get all the media off of DanceBUG and within the app, without even having to reach out, it gave us the option to have 3 days to retrieve our media without a membership!! How wonderful. Thank you for thinking of families and support our dance family. :)
