5/5Can’t Beat Free
I rarely rate things. But this seems to be a well put together app for anatomy flashcards and learning. And it’s completely free as far as I can tell so no. I haven’t seen any ads and haven’t had to make any in app purchases. Which can’t be beat. That said, it teaches recall more than recognition. What I mean by that is the photos are of the same orientation all the time. You may recall the image but does that mean you’d actually recognize the 3 dimensional structure in a model? Also anatomy is such much easier with an understanding of the latin roots the anatomy takes its name from and there isn’t any flashcards that teach these Latin roots. Which seems like a massive oversight. But for an entirely free app. You really can’t complain. It does what it does well. Just understand that what it does is limited.

5/5Really good app from what I’ve seen so far
Im 13 and when I am older I would really like to be a cardiac surgeon. From what I have seen so far this app is really good. I have trouble remembering things but if I do this everyday I’m sure I will be able to remember. I know being a cardiac surgeon you would operate on things relating to the heart but obviously if I’m going to be a surgeon I still need to know these things. The younger I start learning these things, the better I’ll be and the better surgeon I will be. I’m sorry if my grammar or my English isn’t good, English isn’t my first language. I really suggest getting this app if you’re studying for a class, you are a doctor, or you are like me who wants to be a surgeon when they are older. Thank you for reading this ☺️

3/5Not my first choice anatomy app
For a free app, Kenhub did a great job. The app is fluid and fast and functions well. iPhone X support is lacking, and there are only muscles and bones for the upper and lower limb available as of now. It seems it has been this way for a while as there has been no recent update to the app. I’d gladly pay a nominal fee to have the content improved on, as innervations and actions of the muscles are more clinically relevant and testable than memorizing where they are located in Kenhub’s gorgeous illustrations. When getting an answer correct, there is no ability to pause and reflect on the answer choice, thus if you made a guess the app assumes you knew the answer, do not need to review it and moves on. Keeping the image up after answering correctly could help us reinforce the correct answer choice. Being produced by Kenhub, this app has a lot of potential and I wish I would’ve been able to utilize it for more before my upcoming MSK exam.

4/5Love this app
Super simple and easy to use for anatomy beginners and people just brushing up on the basics. My ONE wish though is to make it so I can reset everything I’ve learned in a specific category and start from the beginning again (without having to delete and reinstall the app). Or at least give us the option to review or re-learn the terms within a specific category. I find if I stop using the app for long period of time, I’ll forget what I’ve learned in some sections. Trying to use the app to refresh my memory from previous use is kind of frustrating to do when I’m stuck just having to guess an answer in what I’ll call “quiz mode.” I just delete and reinstall to work around this and start over, which is kind of annoying. It’s a small detail, but inconvenient nonetheless!

5/5Great App
I really recommend for all desiring to either brush-up, further knowledge, or explore a desired subject. I personally love the capabilities of modern technology as far as either brushing up on previously learned stuff, furthering an already existing, but weak, forgotten, and/or new stuff to embark on. This easily and awesomely takes care of one or more of listed desired capabilities through this app. My High School offers 2 years but I only attended 1 due to other subjects that I desired to learn. So this is so helpful and awesome for me. I do take a pretty strong interest in the obtainable knowledge capability of furthering what I chose not to get involved in unfortunately.
