2/5Pop up adds make it unusable
D1Baseball has the best college baseball content around by a wide margin. So I pay for a subscription and also pay for an app to make it easy to access on my phone. The only problem is that the app throws up full page adds that block all the content I’ve paid to read and then freezes the app. So read your articles in the first 20 seconds or you’re out of luck. An absolutely terrible experience for a paid subscription.

App is an absolute scam. DO NOT BUY!!! Endless memberships for nothing in return. Beyond this, the app is outdated and pretty much has no use other than seeing scores. I bought the membership to the app, find out that I can't stream on it afterwards. Decide to go to the website and try it. I click on the game I want to watch to be met with another subscription that I have to do to watch. Annoyed, I spend $15 more to FINALLY be able to watch. Nope, now I have to spend another $35 a month to watch. When does it end??? How many more subscriptions do I need to make to be able to watch a game. After $23 and absolutely nothing in return, I gave up. DO NOT BUY THIS SCAM!!!

This app lacks a lot of basic functionality. Clicking on a team should at least take me to a page with their schedule and team stats, but that doesn’t happen. It’s just clunky, no search function, no sortable stats, nothing of much value beyond basic scores and being able to “follow” your favorite teams. We need a robust college baseball app, but as great as D1 Baseball might be in many respects, this is not one of them. (Additionally, just FYI, if you want to read anything on this site, your $7.99 needs to be augmented with a $129/year subscription. It would be nice to at least offer a discount or trial to those who spent money on a poor app).

3/5Needs improvement
This is the best place for college baseball, but it needs a lot more for what it is. If you’re charging for a subscription, then more is needed. Things needed to be added: being able to see each teams full schedule on one page; being able to see each full series, or series record on the home page; seeing more rankings then just d1; seeing rpi rankings. These are off the top of my head. Fix these, and this would be way better

This app is a useless hunk of garbage. The interface and functionality are outdated and useless. They should be embarrassed to charge people a subscription for this clunker. It provides no added value when scores are easily accessible for free elsewhere. Outside of scores, it is essentially just embedded URLs that simply open the website in app. You can’t even read the articles without paying for the additional subscription to the site, which is not transparently disclosed when you purchase the app subscription. Business practice that’s dishonest at best
