   Also don’t mind the fact I sent ‘‘this around 3 am okay 😑. Subtitles omg I am trying to read the subtitles in English but every time I watch an anime after watching a few episodes the screen flashes and subtitles turn off . You might be like hey just turn them back on but little do u know that I can’t it won’t let me all I can do is report the problem but even that doesn’t do something so I have to exit the app and refresh it to be able to have subtitles on again. Okay now on to ads at first I was really annoyed how when ever there was an ad my finger would slip and push the screen which led the ad to take me to safari eventually that was solved I don’t know how but I’m just glad it was second is that I’m trying to watch my anime’s when all of the sudden I have to watch an ad in the middle of my show. I suggest you put the ads when people are looking for their next anime to watch or not to put to much ads like only put ads in the begging of the anime and at the end. Or something it just really bothers me when I have to see three long ads and some are even the same like I would be fine if you put two ads in each anime one at the Beginning and one at the end and I would also feel fine if the ads were about other anime’s you guys have in your app like suggestions. *AGAIN* do you update your anime’s because I have had this app for about 1 year I think idk but non of the anime’s I have watched have been added knew episodes which I am hoping you do because I really enjoy this app.

2. 5/5Great Streaming Service for Anime, Just a Few Minor Things Though.

   First off, I want to say Crunchyroll is probably one of the leading competitors, if not the best, when it comes to the anime streaming industry. Ads are cut down to 3 per episode and aren’t that long. There is a large variety of anime complete with multilingual dubs (though these are reserved for subscribers). I am giving this app 5 stars but it could use some improvements. During a video, if you rewind, the pause/play button doesn’t seem to work after you resume. It just has a buffering circle and stays like that until you are at or past the point you originally reminded from. This does not come in handy when trying to closely inspect a scene or copy a character’s dance moves during the outro. Another thing is the ads. I mentioned that the ads are perfectly fine but when they come in the middle of a character’s dialogue or intro/outro scene, it honestly frustrates me. Also, when an ad is playing, for some reason you can’t tap the screen to see where you are in the anime. I don’t know if this could be an actual issue or if it’s just my personal preference. Another thing is that the ads seem “weird”. They don’t have dialogue and it just seems awkward to see people beat each other up or fight infernals without any dialogue or vocal sounds. Be that as it may, this app is truly wondrous and it’s few flaws do not stop me from using this app and it shouldn’t stop you either. I highly recommend this to any and all otakus out there. 3. 5/5Why I LOVE Crunchyroll

   Why yes, even though I got Crunchyroll premium yesterday… I’ve been wanting Crunchyroll premium forever. I’ve been an anime fan for over a year now, and I love to read the mangoes. I would always get frustrated when I would have to watch it off of other websites with commercials, but once I convinced my parents to let me get Crunchyroll premium, I loved how I could watch in English, got to see all the movies and shows that I love for anime and there’s a wonderful huge store I could buy things from. I really love anime and I love how there’s a watchlist where you can click animes you wanna watch in the future well yes Crunchyroll does have some up-and-down when it comes to appropriate shows for kids. There are way for parents safe for their kids, which I love how my mom did that for me so now I get to be happy and watch all my favorite shows and all the right order without any commercials or having to watch it in Japanese. So all I wanna say is thank you for making Crunchyroll I really do, it makes me smile and laugh when I search up an anime, but it doesn’t show it (like Death Note) it says “Nani!? Looks like we couldn’t find that anime!” Which makes me laugh because it’s quite a funny meme in my opinion so once again I just wanted to thank you for having Crunchyroll for the USA and worldwide. Because on most apps, you have to use to watch anime if you don’t have Crunchyroll it’s pretty annoying with all the commercials or it’s just in Japanese and there’s not all the episodes so thank you. Please have a good rest

   So with this update I’ve realized that I am being logged out of my account every time I leave the app and go back. Now with logging in I have no problem but now its always saying that it can’t connect but my wifi is connected and turned and all my other apps are working just fine and are able to connect. My next problem is that the videos are taking way too long to load in. At first I didn’t mind as I thought it may just be my wifi but after numerous times of checking I’ve realized it wasn’t. Now the ads itself won’t even load and the video’s won’t load in and i’ve waited up to 5 minutes. I would pause and unpause the videos multiple times with breaks in between so I don’t overdo anything. Just a little bit ago I was able to get it to load in after a few minutes of waiting and when it was time for the ad, as I suspected it took some time to load in. Then once the ads were finished the video itself isn’t loading in and I have been waiting some time now. I’m not sure if it’s just me or if something is wrong with my phone but before the update it was working perfectly fine and I was able to atleast watch the video. Now I’m always waiting for the video to load and it’s happening all the time and every time I try to watch a video. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app once to see if anything would fix or work but unfortunately nothing changed. I do plan to try that again and hopefully it will work but as now I am leaving this review in hopes this problem will get solved.

5. 4/5In desperate need of quality of life updates.

   The only way to remove shows you don’t want to watch from your Continue Watching is to mark all of the episodes as watched, which is fine, unless the series is ongoing. Then you have to mark it as watched every time it’s updated. It’s really annoying and I wish there was just a delete from Continue Watching function. Also, you cannot mark as watched on laptop, so you can only remove shows from continue watching from your phone. On a laptop you can only view 4 shows on Continue Watching at once. There is no way to view without going through your entire history. A major thing that needs to be added is a "Do not recommend" function. I keep on getting recommended this lolicon harem trash that I do not want to see and am completely uninterested in. I can’t get it out of my face and considering the amount of anime series’s that are really gross and do not stand up to western values involving children, I think it is a major oversight that there is no option to not see it. I understand that Crunchyroll is very poorly managed and designed but if they’re going to host that content then there should be an option to not see it. Being able to write reviews on the app would be nice too. Dismissing notifications without interacting with whatever you’re being notified about would be nice too (which isn’t a change I’d expect but I’ll put it out there). The site and app do the bare minimum and that’s okay but I’d really expect an average experience with how much it costs and how old it is.
