1. 5/5Best App for the Best True Crime Podcast 💜

   I began listening to Crime Junkie in 2020 when I, like so many others, searched for ways to feel connected to the outside world. It was love at first sight (listen?) and Ashley & Brit truly became such an integral part of my day that they feel like best friends now. Once I quickly made it through the standard episodes, I immediately joined the top tier of the fanclub and was delighted to find it included hours and hours of more CJ audio plus its very own app! Not only are the regular episodes released early and ad-free, but Ash and Brit give us fans SO many extras within the app — from exclusive episodes, to updates, to community engagement, to early access to the merch store… you get the idea! I am now on my second listen through of all the episodes via the app and I truly don’t know what I’d do without CJ keeping me company during car rides, school pickups, folding laundry, and falling asleep at night. Plus I have to add that Ash and Brit are so wonderful to their fans and actually engage with us (how many people can say they texted their fave podcast host and got a response back?!) and truly love and are grateful for this community. 5 stars isn’t enough to convey my love for this app and all things CJ!! My only wish is that all audiochuck series become available in a similar format in the future! Thank you for all that you do Ashley & Brit and the entire audiochuck family! 💜

2. 5/5CJ App Is A Must Have!

   As an avid true crime fan, the Crime Junkie podcast app is a must-have. The app provides seamless access to the show's extensive library of episodes, making it easy to binge-listen to the captivating stories. One of the app's standout features is its intuitive user interface. The clean design and straightforward navigation make it simple to find and play the episodes you want. The app also offers helpful features like playback speed controls, sleep timers, and the ability to download episodes for offline listening. What sets Crime Junkie apart, however, is the exceptional quality of the content itself. Hosts Ashley Flowers and Brit Prawat do an excellent job of researching and presenting each case with a perfect balance of empathy, insight, and suspense. The production value is top-notch, with crisp audio and a compelling narrative style that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Whether you're a true crime junkie or simply looking for an engaging podcast to listen to, the Crime Junkie app is a must-download. With its impressive catalog of episodes, user-friendly design, and unparalleled storytelling, it's a true gem in the crowded true crime podcast landscape. My dream is to have all Crime Junkie shows in the app. Hopefully one day soon that can be a reality! 🤞🤞

3. 5/5CJ 💜💜💜

   I’ve listened to CJ since December of 2018; a friend recommended it , I started listening that same day , and binged all the episodes within a month . I became a fan club member pretty quickly as well. I love Ashley and Brit and everything they do for CJ ( as well as Delia and the other reporters and team members who help in making CJ the amazing thing that it is ). I also love that along with just making episodes, CJ has been proactive in raising funds and donations , helping families , demanding Justice , and raising public interest in cases that weren’t getting enough attention . As far as the app itself , I love that I can sort episodes different ways, find older episodes easily , and find announcements quickly as well . I’ve ne er had any issues using the app . I for sure won’t deduct stars for it , but the only criticism I can think of is that I really really miss Headlines .. like as much as I’m always excited for new episodes, for some reason I’d get double excited for Headlines. But we can’t always get everything we want and things change ; I completely understand if it was just too much on everyone’s already full plates or something to that extent . Definitely doesn’t stop me from continuing to love love love CJ .

4. 5/5My Favorite Podcast- STRONGLY recommend

   First of all, Ashley Flowers’ voice is so smooth. It feels like a friend, since I’ve been listening to the podcast since the start. I am such a Britt fan and love how she highlights how she feels about the situations, and keeps the ones they report on alive in thought. Also the growth of the team is so exciting since we know they are contributing more than just stories. They push for true movement in cases, investigate every story and put their money where their mouth is. I have always been a fan of true crime. I find people’s minds fascinating, as well as the true humanity side that shows processes aren’t perfect. I feel like there is not only accountability demanded for those impacted, but also I know my monthly payments are going to somewhere good. Will never stop listening! Excited to stick with this community and support the work of changing the system with my listening, club membership AND I’m grateful for all of the Audio Chuck team who keeps us updated on what is going on today. I was active politically before, but I feel so much more empowered knowing there is a full community of people who want change too.

5. 5/5I can’t get enough

   I absolutely love listening to Ashley and Brit! They are my other best friends. I get so much joy when the bad guy is caught or an update comes out and DNA has solved a cold case. I lost my brother in-law years ago and I grew up with him and my sister as friends and then as they fell in love and later had my beautiful niece. He was really my big brother and my teacher. He helped teach me how to drive and gave me dating advice when I started lol. When he was killed by one of his childhood friends it pushed me to want justice not just for him but for so many people that have went through the pain of losing someone they love. I have always been a crime junkie and you guys have provided me a way of feeling like I’m helping in some small way. I live by our crime junkie rules and I’m teaching my own family the same. Anytime I can sign or donate I’m on it. We have to stop thinking bad things will never happen to us because that is a lie. But we can all live smart and be prepared if we run into trouble. I love this app and I know you will too!
