Great magazine when I can get it but the app crashes or freezes, doesn’t recognize me as a subscriber, again and again. Requires a lot of communication over time to try to rectify and restore access. Very frustrating.

Suddenly, I can't access my subscription, and the app won't let me restore my purchases. Buyer beware. Update: started working for a while but same problem now in January 2014. So frustrating. Update: happening again April 2016

Following the update of iOS 6.1 we are getting reports from customers that the Country Life Magazine app is crashing when there is no Wi-Fi connection present or if the iPad / iPhone is on Airplane mode. We are working on fixing this problem but at this time we advise customers against updating their devices to iOS 6.1 to continue enjoying your digital editions.

Customers have recently reported problems with purchasing and viewing their digital magazines. We are currently working to resolve this issue, but in the meantime, if you’re experiencing problems please follow the instructions below: 1: Double tap the ‘Home Button’ 2: Press and hold the Country Life icon 3: Quit the app 4: Re-launch the Country Life app. This should re-initiate and complete your download. You will not be charged again for your purchase. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused, and we hope you will continue to enjoy reading Country Life magazine.
