  1. 5/5Interestingly accurate

I never believed in astrology- wasn’t allowed to- grew up *very* sheltered- but I did have magazines and I’d read my horoscope which was fun but then I’d read the others and all applied to me lol. All of that astrology jazz seemed fake. Then I found out about Co-Star and honestly- I have checked it pretty much every day for a year and don’t plan on stopping. Co-Star does astrology on a totally different way. I use it mostly for comparability- this app predicts my partner’s daily mood in such an on point way it’s down to the type of food they want or like if they just need some alone time. The paying extra part is too expensive imo considering in one year I have had a couple of repeats (maybe that’s just my life lol idk how this works really). The relationship part is just so hard to look past- I added some random person I knew for 5 seconds awhile ago and I really wish she didn’t move like the next day cause sounds like we’d be best friends lol! There’s a daily dos and donts list which I chuckle at cause usually I check this app later in the day and it’ll have things I 100% did or plan to do later on there- lots of oddly specific things like “do: extra cheese” and “don’t: ex’s instagram”. I just love the writers- they make me chuckle every day :) I totally recommend this app! Downfall- very expensive in app purchases for things that AI can tell us about nowadays.

  2. 5/5Scary accurate

I’m not typically the kind of person to leave reviews on apps unless they’ve somehow impacted my life, but here we are. I’ve been using Co-Star for about 2 years and some change now and at first I didn’t think too much of it. Sometimes the predictions would fit, other times I felt as though they were the complete opposite. I grew up in a house that deeply believed in horoscopes to the point where I grew up to be a bit of a sceptic. Sometimes horoscopes work, but most apps or readings these days are so generalised that they fit everyone. Not Co-Star. This app has personally called me out for the past 2 weeks now with insanely accurate predictions, readings, and the works. I had to check to make sure microphone and permissions settings were off because by the 5th day I was convinced someone had somehow been listening into my conversations. Then day 6 hit, I woke up at 3am from a nightmare to a notification telling me that I control my fears and that they are not real. How. Somehow, some way this app has invaded the very solitude of my subconscious mind in order to strip mine it for horoscope fodder. At this point it’s so consistently accurate it’s become almost like having a handbook of suggestions from the universe at all times. Am I being listened to? How does it work so well? Who knows, but I trust it. I have the free version and briefly tried their “Eros” version, but didn’t see much difference. If you’re considering downloading it, whether or not you believe in this stuff, just do it and trust the process. Their permissions aren’t too extensive either from what I understand so there’s another plus too if you care about that kind of thing!

  3. 3/5An amazing app gone wrong.

This app used to be amazing but it is now essentially “bricked” and even the most basic features are completely locked making the app useless. $9.00 a month for an ai astrology service is insane, I understand that it delves deep and offers a beautifully aesthetic & creative tool… I just can’t justify that price point ethically speaking. If it were perhaps $2.99 (As most news/journalism apps) it would be completely reasonable given the features it provides, However, I can get much more in depth readings & quality from other ai service like grok (for example) who uses the same NASA data and much more sourced information minus the social element (which I didn’t really use anyway.) I appreciate what this app accomplished when it was free with half of the features, But now that another company decided to go down the same greed-driven subscription based model as the rest of the App Store. I’m going have to simply opt out. If the price point doesn’t bother you, I will say this is an adoring app that has many cute quirks & features (as well as it being aesthetically pleasing)… It’s simply a hard pass for me. Sorry Co-Star we had a good run — But this is just not the vibe in this current economy and I wish the best on your endeavors. If it went back to its previous iteration before this huge update recently, Atleast allowing half of the daily horoscope available (and the ability to use the widget without the subscription as previously functioned) maybe I’d come back. But $9?? Oof, No thank you.😒

  4. 5/5New to this app and teachings and happy to be here

Only my first day using the app. Astrology and it’s many facets are still relatively new to me and I’m finally trying to understand. Even though periodically over the years I have checked a horoscope here n there, I never took it too seriously. But more recently I’ve started to learn a bit about the different sun and moon signs and even delved a bit into numerology (which I’m not sure if that has any direct relation but is interesting nonetheless.) One of my short and long term personal goals have been just to learn as much as I can about everything... everything I feel I’ve been lied to or mislead about my whole life... which come to find out is just about everything 🤦🏻‍♀️ so needless to say I have a long road ahead of me. Id like to become more openminded to the limitless possibilities of our individual lives paths. Callings or just deep-down knowings that for so long I’d preferred to ignore and just take whatever life throws at me Instead. I’ve downloaded this app specifically to help me on my journey in hopes that these daily reminders and guidance will be a valuable tool in my personal growth so that I can in turn help others. So, here’s to hoping I can learn to navigate this app and use it to its fullest potential (as I have the tech skill if the over 80 crowd). Cheers, Thanks for the insight

  5. 5/5Ancient Study meets Modern Design

From the moment you interact with a Co-Star screen, you feel welcomed by an open hand. The design is so sleek, it seamlessly guides you through celestial and self discovery. This app has been tailored to a modern generation, but is simple yet elegant enough for anyone to use and enjoy. While my verification can only mean so much, I’ve found Co-Star’s accuracy to be the best of many sources I’ve investigated. If you’re looking for accuracy and information regarding what and why, look no further. The same applies if you were just looking for a good horoscope source. The app favors everyone by being able to cater to the extremely on the go user (in the form of notifications with your daily horoscope at a glance in emojis), those who have a couple more minutes with written out horoscopes within the app (that is coupled with hyperlink paragraphs for further detail on an aspect of your horoscope), and lastly those who want to know exactly what that means and why (by providing in depth descriptions for each category, as well as how the conclusion was formulated). I could rave over this app for days, but just try it out for yourself. At the end of the day, my gut is my private consultant, and this app made my gut feel right at home. But even so, Co-Star has created an app where anyone and everyone can easily and comfortably learn about this ancient form, themselves, and the world around them. Tailoring it to this generation was a noble effort in which I feel they’ve succeeded greatly. TL;DR , amazing interface design, plenty of features, accurate and good for you!
