3/5Glitchy but informative
The app is a little glitchy. Sometimes things don’t respond when you touch them until you close the app then go back in. The map is a good idea but is missing a lot of no carry zone info ( in my area anyway). There should be a easy way to submit/update/notify of missing data. It took me a while to realize that I had entered permit info as a guest permit, not the resident permit so the map was showing all red. Some of the pages should be redesigned to make them more intuitive. The articles in the newsfeed are excellent.

5/5THE BEST Informative Concealed Carry APP for everyone
My son found this app and downloaded it for everyone in the family. Unlike my son who served in the Military, and as a single mother I’ve always owned a CCW, and various other firearms, however with laws constantly changing or being debated the only option I had until now was to ask a friend, someone in law enforcement, or my son himself about the legalities of how to properly travel, carry, or ensure the safe stow away of my weapons. This includes even in my own household or carrying it when I’m out alone running errands in areas that aren’t always deemed the safest. Amazingly this app provides a clear and simple outline of all the the different laws, rules, and regulations applicable to each level of government, but also was extremely informative for reviewing when and where it is appropriate to possess a CCW on your persons in addition to being updated by each state based on “Open Carry” laws, permits required, etc.. In addition there is a wealth of videos and resources to learn from or use to practice becoming an even more responsible weapons owner. The list goes on about what amazing things are offered and it would be to much to write in just one review I HIGHLY recommend you download yours now, and get started with everything offered here which is comprised of material from a completely variety Subject Matter Experts in their field of knowledge. Thank you to the App Developers for coming up with such a practical tool I can keep in my pocket everyday so I can continue being the most responsible, educated, and law abiding citizen possible!

1/5Worst, glitchiest app I’ve ever used
I’ve literally never once written a review about an app, but had to come here to share. I’ve had this app 30 minutes and it is the least user friendly app I’ve ever used. Not intuitive. Took me 10 minutes to realize that selecting a state on the map doesn’t show reciprocity info, you have to make an account and add your permit. But then the “save” button doesn’t actually save so the map still won’t display info. Pieces of different screens sticking around when you move to another screen (glitching). No way to change profile picture. Not even sure where the app got it from to begin with. Changed notification settings but they won’t save. Will be deleting the app immediately. Don’t waste your time. This app’s a joke.

3/5Disappointed! I wanted to rave about a great find
I purchased the handgun training log (in binder form) and haven’t used it because I don’t want to lug an extra bulky binder to the range. This looked to be a great alternative. I started to log my handguns and can save the data, but when I try to add a picture, it closes the app. Next, I tried to add a contact. There’s a save button, but doesn’t save. I entered the information a couple times and my list is showing, no contacts. I gave it a three because I’m hoping the forums and other information will be useful. This has GREAT potential but needs some work.

3/5Not quite ready for prime time yet
I wanted an app that worked across multiple iOS devices. I like to use my iPad for most of the data entry and my iPhone to log training sessions at the range. This app does that but it has a few issues. The firearms and ammunition database is not extensive. It appears to be geared towards handguns, but a Ruger 10/22 is not in the database, really? I’m an avid Olympic pellet pistol shooter and that is not addressed. I wish you could enter specific information not included in the database rather than just being able to choose “OTHER“ so you could work around any lack of the database issues. After about an hour of data entry I think this app has some potential but there are some significant errors. When I attempted several times to add a photo of a handgun it crashed. I’d like to be able to add photos to my practice sessions and keep an ammunition inventory and usage. I used the notes section to document the purchase price of the firearms. A dedicated field would be a nice addition. I noticed when I made a mistake entering a firearm and I deleted it, it didn’t go away immediately. I had to logout and then log back in before it was removed from the inventory list. When I entered my permits, Illinois has two, A fire arm owners ID and a CCW. There’s only room for one entry as a resident. I put the other one in the non-resident log. I think this app has potential for my specific needs. I hope these issues and enhancements are included in future updates.
