1. 5/5It’s a great app to use so far, just small concerns

   I enjoy using the app. It’s good to reinforce topics and make connections across objectives. My concern right now is with the AI bot Mentora. Overall, the AI does its job pretty well. Right now, however, it keeps telling me to try again later when I ask it a question (even the pre-written commands give me an error). Also, during the practice exams, no matter which option you choose (Newbie, Exam, Expert), the pre-written commands at the bottom will tell you if you chose the correct option or not, making me feel like my choice to pick Newbie, Exam, or Expert mode doesn’t matter. For example, Which of these is not a control category? A) Managerial B) Technical C) Physical D) Operational And if I’m taking the practice exam, and I choose D, the pre-written commands at the bottom will read “Why am I wrong?” which indicates to me that the answer I chose was incorrect and then allows me to change my answer until the pre-written command reads: “Explain correct answer,” which tells me I chose the right one. Also, the personalized plan creation feature doesn’t work. It just gives a giant gray square that has no information. Other than that, I use the app and cross reference it with a study guide book and Professor Messer’s course notes. Thank you!

   I cannot, and I mean cannot, recommend this app enough. I did buy the premium so I could understand why I got the questions wrong. This proved to be invaluable. I have no experience in tech and this was my entry into the tech field in general - with no prior knowledge and in essence only this app, I was able to learn specific knowledge and critical thinking to answer the actual questions on the exam. Very, very few of the exam questions were from this question bank. That being said, the total available question bank for this app can and will teach you HOW to answer those questions and why one answer is better than another. Best prep I’ve done. Took it with a month of studying and an 87% likelihood to pass within the app. Thank you so much for this app. I will definitely be using the Network+ one as well.

3. 5/5Great tool for quick learning

   I just passed the SY0 601 and it was mostly in thanks to this app although I used several other resources. I did the one time purchase and think it’s worth it. My study toolkit consisted of reading the Sybex security + study guide, then I watched Jason Dions course material on Udemy while simultaneously using this app every night before bed or standing in line or whatever, then commited to the practice tests this offers (averages around 90% toward the end) as well as Jason Dions practice tests on Udemy (averaged around 82-86%). The questions on this app are pretty simple so I recommend diversifying your practice questions but it will definitely help you understand the concepts. I have no IT experience and besides reading the book (took a while to read, I’m slow) I seriously studied for maybe a month and a half

4. 5/5So far, so love it! ;)

   After recently completing a 9 month (really, 10 when including the intro course) cybersecurity boot camp via a well-known university, I've been struggling with the anxiety of changing careers after 25 years of teaching (literally half my life). I forgot I'd even installed this app during class one night, and opted for the pro version within a few minutes of using it. Honestly, my confidence has soared just from using the app and realizing how much info I actually DID digest and retain. Maybe, with this app, I WON'T need that retake voucher I've already paid for! Give this app a shot if you're planning on taking the Security+ any time within the next months, and consider springing for the Pro version. Using this app regularly, I expect to pass on my first try. Worth it!

5. 5/5This app helped me pass.

   TL;DR previously studied but didn’t take exam due to circumstances. Six months later needed a resource for a quick review and used this app and passed. I studied using a variety of resources: professor messer’s notes, videos, and practice tests, TotalSem lectures on Udemy and a variety of practice test. I was super ready, then came test day, my test has been cancelled and refunded. I never got back around to testing due to circumstances so I never studied again then six months later I needed to pass. I downloaded this app and used it a lot in the week leading up to my test and passed! Really no drawback to the app other than the Mentora bot seems to largely rehash what the written explanation is (which itself is useful).
