5/5New Note Presentation Format
I felt that your new Notes presentation format change was somewhat unannounced and unanticipated by average users. As an accomplished Senior Technical Writer and a studied Naval Historian, I keep all of my extensive manuscript development notes on this platform in a conveniently color-coded format for ease of access and good organization. Sadly, whatever you recently did to “enhance” our Notes experience has now only served to move all of these notes helter-skelter and invert my color-based filing scheme, indeed with folder entries I used to have on top to now be shown on the bottom, and causing me to have to once again reorder all of the folders. Wow, what a chore. It would have been nice if you had maybe given us a quick heads-up to let us know what you proposed to do to upgrade the platform. Not angry, just a little put off by the extra work that I felt was otherwise unnecessary. Also, can someone tell me how I can apply “Bold” and “Italics” properties to any of my text entries? I think the provisioning of a minor HELP sub-app to assist users in understanding how to do various things on the app could go a long way to maybe resolving a lot of these otherwise minor issues. I thank you for the opportunity to at least express my opinion and provide this review.

I haven’t had this app for too long, but I am REALLY ENJOYING IT! I absolutely LOVE the little mood face feature! So fun and very unique! Just makes you smile no matter what!😄! Actually I’m very particular about my “Note” apps and this one is totally perfect for what I’m using it for! You guys have done a fantastic job with it! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t change it by trying to make it “better.” Too many, in fact wayyyy too many once upon a time great apps decided to make theirs “better” and all they did was TOTALLY RUIN THEIR APPS! Upgrading, or whatever you want to call it is usually NOT a good idea when you’re already successful! That old saying of; “You don’t go fixing what’s not broken” is absolutely and completely true! Thanks for a great app! 👍👍👍

5/5Easy Yet Detailed
I have used Colored Notes for years. It was always visually appealing and I was able to organize notes by my criteria which is important to me. I wish you could keep the original date ON the note. This way if it is added to, or information is changed, the date it was altered can appear on the note, but it will not eliminate the day on which it was created. I am also wondering why I am able to change the font on the face of the listings of notes, but not within the body of the notes! Please fix this! Thanks! GerriZee

5/5Found exactly what I was looking for
I’ve been searching through the Appstore for days for an app like this one, where you can write notes and sort them out easily with colors. Some other apps do the same as well, but this one is the highest-quality app I’ve seen so far. It lets you adjust small things that make the app much more worthwhile. Plus, there isn’t a limit to how much notes you can have, which is an extremely amazing plus that other apps lack. This app was exactly what I was looking for. If I could rate it higher, I would.

1/5No longer a great app
I’ve used this app for years. Since 2015, actually. But over the last couple of months it has become very difficult to use. And it is not the phone because I’ve changed phones but am still unable to use it. I have an iPhone and have always used the app with an iPhone. I started using the app with an iPhone 8, just recently updated from the 12 Pro Max to the 15 Pro Max. The problems are with both of these phones and I only used 85% of the 12 Pro Max memory so it wasn’t a “lack of memory issue”. When I try to select text to copy, paste, or even change the text by typing, the cursor jumps around and will select text 2 or more entries off of what I selected or will only select part of the text but not give me the option to expand the selection. Then when I try to get back to the text I wanted it doesn’t respond correctly, causing me to have to get out and then back in. It has become very difficult to use. I’m so disappointed in the latest version that I moved my entries to another app and deleted this one today. It’s not worth the effort it takes to do basic tasks.
