  1. 4/5A bit clunky.

I like it, though it could have simulation of partial color deficiency, maybe with a slider for how much. It might also use some “About…” text popup that explains the app and how to use it. The single-view display does not clearly show what processing is applied to that view, or how to change it. No processing is only displayed when doing color-value capture with a square at the center of the view. The multiview could also include no processing. It could display only deficiency selection, only color enhancement, or making some color white, making 4 at a time. One might also mention simulating dog vision - dogs have red-green color deficiency.

  2. 5/5Helpful to a mom of a colorblind 5-year old.

When I recently learned my son was colorblind I felt really sad for him. Through using this app to see the world as he sees it I have begun to appreciate the more subtle beauty of the world in shades of blue and yellow. It's also really useful when considering books to get for him and other teaching materials. I can see when things get lost in the background. Only thing I would change is when you take the picture for comparison you would have the option to save it to your photo album.

  3. 5/5What would I do without it?

I love being able to use this app to see what my graphs will look like to my team members who can't always distinguish between colors.

  4. 5/5Wow...

Until I saw this app I never knew I was colorblind. I thought everyone saw what I did..... apparently not.

  5. 5/5Incredible parenting tool!

I have a 6-year-old with protanopia and after a frustrating experience with a board game that we had to take a Sharpie to to make it useable to him, I stumbled across a forum that sent me to your app. This. Is. Amazing! After years of trying to guess which colors were challenging to him in each context, I can literally see for myself! I spent about 20 minutes just walking around my house with my mouth agape, seeing our home -and us! -the way he does. It is rare that we can truly experience what a challenge is like for someone else -and this app did just that. (I see what he means: unripe and ripe bananas are identical!) This is going to be an incredibly helpful tool for us and I'm going to tell his teachers about this app too. Thank you for quite literally giving us a view into his world.
