   Great app. But could use a couple improvements. When you go into the detailed forecast, it shows you hour by hour for the next two days. Would be nice to have an option to view the full day and night like the rest of the week. Also in detailed mode, would be helpful to see weather icons along the top, so you don’t have to tap into each day to see what the weather will be.

   5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love the CNN Weather app! It has a really nice, clean design that’s super easy to use. The forecasting feels accurate (at least in theory — it’s been spot on for my area lately), and everything loads quickly with great visuals and straightforward info. I’m not even a big fan of the CNN network overall, but I have to give credit where it’s due — you guys nailed the weather app. The CNN Weather team is great and clearly knows what they’re doing. It’s become my go-to app for checking conditions and forecasts. My only real wish is that you’d release a dedicated iPad app (or at least better optimize it for the bigger screen). That would make it perfect. Overall, it’s a fantastic app. Highly recommend! Keep up the great work.

3. 3/5Needs some more work

   Let me start by saying I love the app and am willing to make it the daily weather app but it’s needs some more work before that happens. Notifications do not work at all. They advertise in the App Store photos that it gives push notifications for storms but after 2 severe storms in the northeast here, not a single notification. If the NWS issues a watch/warning, you don’t get a notification for those either. Also wish they would work on including lightning strike/detection for the radar because it’s a nice safety feature to have in a weather app in my opinion. It’s a beautiful weather app all around and their effort to provide stories on why the weather will be a certain way in areas of the country is amazing. As they continue to update, they’ll quickly become a powerhouse of an app.

4. 5/5Loving but want a widget

   loving this app a LOT! sooo much better than the apple weather app or the weather channel app. my only ask is to create the CNN weather app Widget for my home screen, that’s one of the most convenient features of the other two weather apps but i want cnn weather!!!! hopefully they can add in the next update!

5. 1/5App is for tracking you

   I was excited to try the new CNN Weather app. I have all of my apps set to ‘share location only when using’ because I don’t want to be tracked all the time. The CNN Weather App has pop ups on the iPhone asking me to change the ‘location sharing to always’. Even when I am not using the app I get popups asking me to change location data. Every two hours my iPhone will stop working until I answer either keep sharing settings as is or allow sharing all the time. I had to delete the app just to use my iPhone.
