4/5Great app but can’t export/share
Not sure if it’s a glitch on my phone but when I try to save/export/share it just sends a text that says check this out… but no attachment. I’d at least like to be able to save to my files so I can share with other coaches when I’m not at practice. Otherwise, this app has been fantastic! I use it all the time. A few minor things… I wish I could save things into folders in the list as I have a ton of routines each year. I also wish there was a place to keep notes on each form so I could jot down different movements etc, but that’s being picky :)

2/5Won’t stop crashing!
I love this app so much! However tonight I was working on some formations and it just crashed... So I figured I should be able to just refresh the app and I’d be able to get back on but that didn’t work. So then I tried restarting my phone, and it still wouldn’t work. Then I did a hard restart, and once again, it just crashes!!! I’m not sure if the fact that my phone is not updated could effect it, but I’m hoping to update it tonight. I’m very unpleased with this as I have many formations I have yet to teach and to loose all of those would be a nightmare for me.

4/5The App won’t open :(
I love love this app and use it frequently and I just finished creating a set of formations and then the app randomly crashed and now it *consistently* crashes every time I try to open it! I am trying to view my formations as I need them as soon as possible and I can’t even open the app to view it without the app closing. I am on the newest version of the app and I even restarted my phone a few times. I’m afraid if i uninstall the app to re-download then all of my work will be gone. Please advise and try to fix this recurring problem!

4/5So helpful, and is almost there!
This app has been a tremendous help for making formations! There have been other blocking apps in the past, but were less efficient than using pen and paper due to their bugs and limitations. A feature I really like is that I can insert formations in the middle of the piece. This is so helpful, since I don’t have to worry about getting all the sub-blocking down the first time. A couple of fixes and feature requests that I would like: - ability to add notes to each formation (a nice-to-have is to add a color legend per formation, describing what each color means) - when entering names into the list of performers, when it gets to the bottom of the screen, the keyboard closes and reopens, and it’s pretty distracting. It would be nice if the keyboard stayed open if I press “return”. - ability to watch transitions in slo-mo - keeping the name labels’ text size the same when zooming in (it’s hard to see names of people standing next to each other right now) Overall, I’m really enjoying the app, and am very grateful you are combining your talents in dance and software development to help the dance community. 5/5Extremely useful app for dancers
Using ChoreoRoom is such an upgrade from paper blocking sheets. Overall the app design and usability is great, though I have a couple notes. Thanks for making this Aaron! Bug: when I accidentally delete a dancer in a formation (there's no confirmation for delete notification) and add them back, the smooth dot transition between formations is lost. I have to create a new formation at the end by copying the last formation, dragging it to the slide with the deleted dancer, and recreate the formation Feature request: being able to add names to every formation. I currently need to add a dancer at the top left and name them with the formation name.

The new and improved ChoreoRoom includes several user-requested features: • Colors: You can now assign colors to dancers to indicate distinct groups within a formation. • Multi-select: Quickly select multiple dancers either by tapping on them sequentially or dragging a selection rectangle around them. From there you can easily perform batch edits, such as moving, deleting, or recoloring them all at once. • Copy pieces: Tapping on the three dots next to a piece in your gallery gives you the option to copy an entire piece. Now you can experiment with new formation ideas without the risk of losing your old work. • Sharper graphics: Zooming in on the stage used to make name labels and stage lines appear blurry…but fear no more! We've updated our rendering so that these elements stay razor sharp, even at maximum zoom. Thank you for your continued support of ChoreoRoom.
