5/5Glad I found it; phenomenally designed!
I literally had never come across this app or heard anyone mention it or read about it until just recently. Up until then, for years, I always utilized the built-in wish list on the iTunes Store, which I had always used for as long as I have ever been using Apple products, and of course would just manually have to look at my wishlist in order to see if there were any deals or sales. I actually went as far to begin telling people to utilize the wish list in the iTunes app and would speak very highly of this method, except of the one major drawback which was that it never actually had a function of notifying per-item on the wish list when something was actually on sale. I would just say that the sales happen unannounced and silently, and you have to actually check the wish list manually and frequently in order to utilize the sales or simply be aware of them. Well, with the discovery of this app, I think it’s self-explanatory… this app literally does everything I ever needed a wishlist connected to iTunes to do and all I can say is, beyond rejoicing, is that I am so thankful someone designed such a high quality app like this. I also want to honor the very clever idea to include a price trend on every item as well. I actually really appreciate that because I often wonder if something has ever been on sale or at least how long it has been until the last sale. Also, with the release of iOS 17.2 and the silent death of the wishlist and even browsing for movies in the iTunes app, the discovery of this app also came as such a blessing to me, so to speak.

Update 3 (Aug 2022): App and web login are now fixed. Update 2 (Aug 2022): stopped working entirely, on iOS, tvOS, and web. Sad. Update: the interface is getting worse. There is no rhyme or reason to the grid shifting unpredictability between 3 columns and 4 columns. Then, you are constantly missing half of a column on the right hand edge. Very sloppy developers, no user testing, obviously. On iOS, there are two different menus to switch between movies, TV, books, music, etc. This is needlessly complicated. This app is useful in that it provides information that the iTunes Store should really provide much more readily. Unfortunately, the app suffers from a fixed, non-customizable display with only four titles shown per screen on Apple TV, which is way too few. Also, the scrolling on this app is not well calibrated using the remote, for some reason. This makes navigation very difficult and frustrating.

I’m sorry but this app used to be great, but now it’s absolutely slow. Been slow for the longest time and when I saw the update I was excited that they FINALLY fixed the issue. Nope! Still incredibly slow. You tap on a movie to buy and it shows the logo in the center with its animation until you get so tired of it not doing anything and you end up going to Apple TV and buying the movie without using the app. Wish the developers would just fix this app for once and get it working. Right now it is absolutely useless. **EDIT** The developer responded to my review and said that the app had an update and is now blazing fast. I don’t know what planet this “blazing fast” app is on, but wherever it is, I’d like to have that app because this app is still excruciatingly slow. It’s not fast at all. Pages load as slow as ever. I’m constantly getting the RELOAD dialogue at the bottom of the splash screen. It stays on the splash screen for ages until it decides to load. And when tapping on a movie or tv show to view more, it gives you that load screen of death as the screen darkens somewhat and you have the animated logo telling you that it’s loading. Well I just cannot use this app anymore. Not until this phantom “blazing fast” app finally shows itself because this app is not blazing fast at all. All other apps work great. This one is not working hardly at all.

2/5Buggy now! Great app for best prices and trends
My purchases no longer updates, including from the purchases made in app. This was quickly becoming a 5 star app, but after the last update it’s gotten glitchy. A push button for purchases (re-searching your library) would be great to help. Having to remember your entire collection to remove purchases would be great. Also, it should remove purchases from wishlist! I shouldn’t have to remove those after buying. Previous review: I love that this app not only alerts you to sales, but you can see trends. It'll also tell you how much the collection purchase saves over the individual movies and you can see costs of each movie. Choose how much you want to pay. Same with TV and Music. The only part I don't like is apps. Most are really old apps and so you really have to research them. When they're free it's fine because you can just delete them. Just be careful you don't pay for what sounds like a good app but is for iOS 8 because Apple removes the apps ability to be used after so long of not being updated. You'd have to stay on an older iOS or lose the app. Since this tracks all sales it's just how it is. You have to learn to use the most popular and best deals for apps to get better information on what to buy and check the reviews and app version through the iTunes link inside this app. It's great. I just wish that o didn't have to bounce around so much to do that sort of thing. There's the daily sales look which is good to see what's new, but a step further into the menu let's you really explore. I wish you didn't have to go into the menu and switch each category (music, movies, TV, apps) to get to the additional options. Built into the main menu would be so much better.

5/5If you ever buy anything from iTunes, then you need this app
I basically live on the road. So I rely heavily on downloadable content vs streaming content. I started building an iTunes library a couple of years ago. I wish I had known about this app then. It has already saved me a bunch of money just by building a wishlist and waiting for things to go on sale. The pricing history is one of the best features because it gives a better idea of when to purchase an item. Say if a movie is $12 but goes on sale for $8 but frequently goes in sale for $5, then I’m gonna hold out until I hit it for that $5. Yeah I know I’m cheap but that’s kinda the point. While this is a fantastic app already, if I had one request it would be to be able to set a price and get an alert when a particular title drops below your price threshold. Worth downloading for sure!! Stop overpaying for content!!

CheapCharts now offers filters for CustomLists so you can see only things you have or do not have, items on your wish list or any other list. And when tapping on a movie or tv show to view more, it gives you that load screen of death as the screen darkens somewhat and you have the animated logo telling you that it’s loading. Well I just cannot use this app anymore. Not until this phantom “blazing fast” app finally shows itself because this app is not blazing fast at all. All other apps work great. This one is not working hardly at all.",

"title": "Buggy now! Great app for best prices and trends",
"body": "My purchases no longer updates, including from the purchases made in app. This was quickly becoming a 5 star app, but after the last update it’s gotten glitchy. A push button for purchases (re-searching your library) would be great to help. Having to remember your entire collection to remove purchases would be great. Also, it should remove purchases from wishlist! I shouldn’t have to remove those after buying. Previous review: I love that this app not only alerts you to sales, but you can see trends. It'll also tell you how much the collection purchase saves over the individual movies and you can see costs of each movie. Choose how much you want to pay. Same with TV and Music. The only part I don't like is apps. Most are really old apps and so you really have to research them. When they're free it's fine because you can just delete them. Just be careful you don't pay for what sounds like a good app but is for iOS 8 because Apple removes the apps ability to be used after so long of not being updated. You'd have to stay on an older iOS or lose the app. Since this tracks all sales it's just how it is. You have to learn to use the most popular and best deals for apps to get better information on what to buy and check the reviews and app version through the iTunes link inside this app. It's great. I just wish that o didn't have to bounce around so much to do that sort of thing. There's the daily sales look which is good to see what's new, but a step further into the menu let's you really explore. I wish you didn't have to go into the menu and switch each category (music, movies, TV, apps) to get to the additional options. Built into the main menu would be so much better.",

"title": "If you ever buy anything from iTunes, then you need this app",
"body": "I basically live on the road. So I rely heavily on downloadable content vs streaming content. I started building an iTunes library a couple of years ago. I wish I had known about this app then. It has already saved me a bunch of money just by building a wishlist and waiting for things to go on sale. The pricing history is one of the best features because it gives a better idea of when to purchase an item. Say if a movie is $12 but goes on sale for $8 but frequently goes in sale for $5, then I’m gonna hold out until I hit it for that $5. Yeah I know I’m cheap but that’s kinda the point. While this is a fantastic app already, if I had one request it would be to be able to set a price and get an alert when a particular title drops below your price threshold. Worth downloading for sure!! Stop overpaying for content!!",
