Buying & Storage on the road: six new law categories for every state and territory. • New: Buying & Storage section on every state page: purchase permit requirements, waiting periods, and private-sale background check rules, with statute links. • New: Handgun Restrictions (rosters and model bans) and Ghost Guns (unserialized and 3D-printed firearm laws) under Firearms. • New: Safe storage mandates, so you know the locked-container rules before leaving a handgun in a hotel room or car. • Data: all 56 states and territories re-audited against current statutes, including use-of-force corrections for Maine, Nebraska, and North Dakota.

Clearer law labels on every state page, plus tappable bill references. • New: tap a bill mention in a state's law notes to open a detail card with its status, sponsors, and a plain-language, side-by-side view of exactly what the law changed. A second tab shows the bill's full activity timeline. • Improved: status pills now say what they mean. Knives, Less Lethals, Open Carry, Rest Area Carry, Public Park Carry, and Businesses Serving Alcohol Carry read Legal / Restricted / Prohibited instead of a bare Yes or No, and Use of Force spells out Stand Your Ground, Castle Doctrine, or Duty to Retreat. • Improved: Firearms rows renamed for clarity (Magazine Limits, Ghost Gun Restrictions), with consistent color coding: green is always good news for carriers, red always bad. • Improved: the island territories on the USA map (Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands) now have much larger tap targets. • Fixed: the law-update notice could repeat on later app launches; each update now shows once. • Polish: more readable search placeholder in light mode, steadier top banner while typing, and maps now sit flush in their sections.

• The Apple Wallet quick reference card now shows up to four permits on the front instead of two, and the back carries full details for every permit you have. • Tapping Cancel on the Add to Wallet sheet no longer removes the card you already had. • Fixed expiration dates on the Wallet card for devices set to a non-Gregorian regional calendar.

• Fixed a bug where the app closed itself a few seconds after opening Law Updates on some devices. Thanks to Dustin for the bug report! • Law Updates opens much faster, scrolls smoothly, and uses far less memory. • Table of contents links in Law Updates now jump to the correct section for every state and territory. • Statute citations in Law Updates are now tappable and open the statute text with the cited subsection highlighted.

Tap a statute to read the law itself, right in the app. • New: tap a statute citation in a state's law notes to open a detail card with the full codified text, where it sits in the code (title, chapter, section), its effective date and amendment history, and an official-source link. For statutes we don't yet carry the text for, the card still shows the citation and a one-tap link to the official government page. • New: a "Changes from Bills" tab on each statute shows exactly how the legislation we track has rewritten that section, with the same clear green/red, side-by-side view as the bill cards. Tap "View Bill" to jump straight to the full bill detail. • Improved: bill references and the bill detail card are smoother and more consistent, and statute and bill cards now share one design language. • New: tap a bill's sponsor to see their full name, party, and role, with one-tap links to their official website and Open States profile when available. • Improved: a statute's "Changes from Bills" list now leads with the most recent amendment and shows the date each change took effect. • Improved: clearer bill statuses, including bills that died when their legislative session ended, plus a labeled "Last action" date on every bill. • Improved: opening a bill from a statute now keeps your place, so you can step back to the statute right where you left off. • Fixed: the Contact Support form's email field now clearly reads as empty until you fill it in.

More ways to dig into the law behind each bill and statute. • New: tap a primary sponsor on a bill to see their full name, party, and office, with one-tap links to their official page and Open States profile. The sponsor list is now a clean, full-width list. • New: the statute card's amendment history now links the bills we track, so you can tap straight from "amended by Acts 2021..." into the bill that made the change. • Improved: more statute citations in the law notes are now tappable and open the statute card in the app. • Improved: bill subjects now read as tidy pills. • Improved: bill and statute cards open full height for easier reading. • Improved: statute changes now show both when a law was enacted and when it took effect. • Improved: clearer permit and age-requirement layout on each state's page. • Fixed: the Contact Support email field now clearly reads as empty until you fill it in.

Map color fix. • Fixed: on the permit map in light mode, states that honor your resident standard permit were drawn in a grey-blue that was easy to mistake for "not honored." They now show in the correct purple, matching the legend and dark mode.
