  1. 5/5Best Paleo Recipe/Meal Planning App Available

I don't normally write reviews for apps as I need to really be wowed in order to do so. Well, this app has done just that... I am wowed! The updated app goes above and beyond all expectations I had for it and is a must for anyone following a Paleo lifestyle or looking to begin in the Paleo world. It has a meal planner, nutritional information (including a calorie/health calculator), shopping list, and of course RECIPES broken down by category. You can also search by a specific food item and it will show you the recipes for it. Its navigation is also easy to figure out which makes this even better!

  2. 5/5Awesome App!! A must have for the primal/paleo lifestyle!

I just purchased this app and have been scrolling through the recipes. They look amazing and the app is set up so well! Very easy to navigate. It tells you right away how much time it should take, gives you AMAZING photos, and even makes it easy to make a favorites list. Get this app and be successfull in the kitchen! The update is A. MAZ. ING!! I love the recipes (duh!) and now you have the ability to make a meal plan and shopping list! Just cut way down on my time in the store and wasted money on food I didn't need. Thank you, George and Abel!

  3. 3/5Some recipes good, some terrible.

I like the variety and many of the tasty and creative recipes, which keeps me using this regularly. Some of the recipes are vague on quantities, and it may be what caused a disastrous result with Dragon Fruit ice cream. The fruits come in sizes ranging from small to rather large. It made some very soapy-tasting Ice cream that had to be tossed out. It's also easy to see that the recipes aren't consistent in format and should be edited to make them more cohesive. I've also decided that the layout and organization makes it difficult to just browse and come up with dinner. Seems more complicated than Abel James' Wild Kitchen app, which offers similar Wild Diet/Paleo-ish recipes, but in a more organized format. Please eliminate the dragonfruit ice cream...its awful.

  4. 5/5Worth all your dollars

This app has opened me up to a lot of new dishes I’ve never made before. I like it because it provides diversity in my dishes instead of 1 Million ways to cook chicken. Really easy way to impress your girlfriend or S/O pick this app up and cook her one of the dishes and a desert from this incredible menu! One thing that would make this app perfect is if it provided macros as well. Us cavemen have to have something to help us learn our math.

  5. 5/5Well Worth The Purchase!

App provides delicious recipes and does mostly everything I need it to. I love how I can plan my meals each week. I can adjust my servings anytime and I can add recipe ingredients to my shopping list. I would love to customize my meals/recipes based on Carb/Protein/Fat percentages. However it does provide these percentages under most recipes if you want to look them up individually. Great buy!

You asked for it - you got it! We've added search functionality and the ability to email complete recipes to your friends. Also, for those of us upgrading to iOS 7, we've updated the app to be fully compatible.

  • 1.2.0

We've added two amazing new features to this version of Caveman Feast: 1. You can now easily add notes to recipes that you can also email to your friends when you share a recipe. 2. We've added shopping cart functionality! You can now tap to add all the items to a shopping list, so you can tick off ingredients you have available. These were our two most requested features! Beneath the hood we've also made a ton of subtle improvements: - An introduction to the recipes has been added to the about section - Fractions are now formatted correctly - A bunch of typos have been fixed (message ribs is now massage ribs!). - Fixed a bug where you swipe from the edge of the screen and end up outside of a recipe, instead of at the next step. - Corrected problem where in iPhone recipe picker, carousel images were stretched horizontally. - Added missing recipe links

We've taught the shopping cart a few new tricks! Now, when you add two new paleo recipes to the shopping cart, and they both need a tomato each, you’ll need to shop for two tomatoes. Makes sense right? You’d be surprised how hard it is to teach this to an app but the 80 hours we spent staring at a spreadsheet was worth it. We've also added an additional recipe pack for those looking for more than 200 recipes! Thanks for all your support with the app, we've stayed in the top 10 food apps since we launched and that's thanks to you guys. If you get a moment, please do leave us a review in the app store, it really helps.

  • 3.0

We've upped the recipes from 200 to 250, added a new meal planner, new pictures, nutritional information, integration with Apple Health, an Apple Watch app for your groceries and so much more. Big thank you to everyone who continues to support us from George Bryant (Civilized Caveman), Abel James (Fat-Burning Man) and Andreas Kambanis (Nibble Apps).

  • 3.1

Version 3.0 added 50 new recipes, a new meal planner, new pictures, nutritional information, integration with Apple Health, an Apple Watch app for your groceries and so much more. In 3.1 we added 4 missing recipes, fixed a handful of recipe instructions, updated 3 of the recipe pictures and added the ability to use 3D Touch to see your 2 most recent recipes by force touching the app icon. If you get a chance, please update your reviews in the App Store! Thank you from George Bryant, Abel James and Andreas Kambanis!
