   I have to admit reading a lot of the bad reviews made me a little nervous to buy through Carvana however, I’m glad I decided to do it anyway. Deciding what I wanted and going through the app to purchase was very smooth. Pricing was decent given the horrendous market for cars right now. I chose for Carvana to deliver it a week out and that too was fairly smooth. On the day of delivery the driver called me to let me know he was running behind and apologized profusely. He showed up 2 hours past the time it was to be delivered but again apologizing for it. The car was SUPER clean, low miles, and just in great condition (2018 Hyundai Elantra 29,900 miles). We test drove it on the main suburban streets and it seemingly drove great. No issues so we decided to continue with the purchase. My first drive on the freeway I could tell the car’s tires may need to be balanced given the horrible shaking of the car driving over 60 mph. Frustrated and thinking I made a bad decision I called Carvana. They told me to take it in to one of their vendors to have it looked at and that it would be covered under the warranty (plus it was still within the 7 day window anyways). Finding a vendor through their app was easy and literally the next day they were able to look at it. Sure enough the tires needed balancing and that fixed the issue. Since then it has been driving great! Also, I received my registration and plates in the mail after just under a month of having the car. All in all Carvana has been great to work with and the car has been even better!

2. 5/5They put their customers first!

   The process was very easy. Although, when I purchased my car I got a second inspection just to insure I got what I paid for, there were some things that didn’t pass. Their warranty company wasn’t going to pay for it & Carvana took the responsibility & sent over an acceptation and it was handled! Next, I had cosmetic concerns that weren’t listed on the picture so I sent a claim off to their warranty company & they denied it because of normal wear and tear. The cosmetic issues weren’t due to wear and tear and I didn’t know about them until I received my car. Carvana once again listened to my concern as I told them it was not normal wear and tear and did everything in their power to send over my acceptation to get it approved. There is truly no other used car dealership that would go out of their way as Carvana did for me. Every customer service representative has been so very nice and respectful even at the times I might’ve had an attitude from frustration. They listened, they were on my side & they made the things they said they would do happen! Great customer service is always a plus for me! Seriously, best used car company I have ever bought from. I was very skeptical at first with this company because i thought it was too good to be true but it’d legit & very professional! So happy I’m a customer of theirs!

3. 4/5A joke

   This has got to be a joke. I am so outraged right now. I ordered my car DAYS ago, it was supposed to be ready today by 8PM, I actively anticipated and properly prepared myself for this day just for the delivery man to call me 10 minutes before 8PM to let me know he’s running late because the man before him didn’t properly detail or check the car out, then call me 15 minutes later saying he has to take the car to go get it fixed and cleaned because the hood won’t close. The MAJOR issue was that the car was apparently vibrating when he started it. Not to mention the hundreds of dollars I gave my insurance company because the car has to be insured before delivery. 100% dissatisfied. The above statement happened about 3 years ago my very first time dealing with Carvana. I have recently tried them out again but will only give 4 stars for now because the app told me my documents would be reviewed within 1-2 business days, but here we are 3 days later & the status did not change. I decided to call just for a little more information, I spoke with a representative who’s customer service was absolutely amazing, it’s 2023 & it is so hard to find even just a fraction of somebody pretending to show some decent people skills. But this lady went above & beyond. For that I gave 4 stars. If everything checks out great (me walking away with my car) then I will give an update. I highly recommend anyone to always follow up with a human whether it be through instant chat or voice. The process can be tedious but remember they are trying to help us it’s not the other way around.

4. 5/5If you’re skeptical…

   Like i was then this is for you. I have known about Carvana for a couple of years now and always thought it seem like a cool idea— a car vending machine, how dope. however, I was always a little bit skeptical on how that process really worked and I remember them having some issues during Covid with getting peoples registrations out to them or something like that.. nonetheless, I recently came into situation where I needed to buy a car immediately and I didn’t have the time to go to dealership after dealership nor did I really want to. Honestly, Carvana made that very easy so not only did I not have to go to any dealerships, but I didn’t even have to leave my house. sure you pay a little bit of more money to have it delivered to you but thats the convenience, & the comfort is there. plus they have a seven day return option so if you don’t like it, you can easily return it. I really feel like this is what the future is going to be, I had a positive experience— i bought a Tesla on there and it was delivered within a week. & yes, they absolutely offer financing options for people with all types of credit apparently (i don’t know personally, but that’s what they claim). Overall, i’d give it a 4.5/5 just because i had some minor issues at first with my address not getting accepted.

   I found my dream car on Carvana and was extremely excited! Everything went simply at first until I was notified that I needed to upload insurance documents by 3 pm or my car will be put back on the market! That same day I was told that nothing was needed from me. Slightly disorganized and caused a lot of miscommunication. Plus, I was told that I don’t need to have my insurance until a few days before. Once I was able to get them my insurance I had missed the deadline and had to go through the process of selecting my vehicle again and signing the contracts and had to change my delivery date to the following day. Then I received another notification a few days later saying my delivery was once again delayed this time for two more weeks! I contacted support to find out why and o was told my vehicle was damaged during transport and that my new delivery date reflects when repairs should be done… I was obviously upset bc I planned everything around my new car! Anyway about a week goes by and I’m told repairs are finished and I was able to schedule a sooner date than what it had been changed to earlier. I think this company needs some major technical updates bc it wouldn’t allow me to select the dates I wanted through the app it kept saying it wouldn’t be ready by then when I had already been told it was fully repaired. I finally got my car today and the process of having it dropped off was super easy! The Carvana advocate was very friendly and helpful. All other customer support members were also very helpful during the process.

   Easy car buying experience but misleading/confusing. I bought a car back in March slight issues but nothing major. The problem is I live in a self register state and picked a car in budget. That means I had pay for the registration and while making the monthly payment. But the app makes it seem like you would be refunded the registration after the submission of the paperwork. That is a no! Instead I get the verbiage is misleading, I'm sorry for the confusion, I understand.

   It's a scam! They approved you base on the informations you filled out, not check thoroughly before make that decision. After you get approved, you will need cash down and delivery fee. Afterwards It will take them a day to go through everything. If you don't get approval, it may already 24 hours later. on their policy, delivery fee no refund after 24 hours. Be aware of that! Also, it will take 10-15 business days before your cash down and delivery fee back to bank account.

   Being this is my second purchase from carvana in 5 yrs this has become even more streamlined. I love the whole process. keep up the good work. love love love my time and not spending hours upon hours sitting at a dealership for no reason. The 7 day satisfaction guarantee or pick a different car or truck is perfect. no need to leave the comfort of your home and minimal cost difference from the local dealer.
