4/5Makes you work for it & worth it
I adore this so much! I got this app because I’m trying to be healthier & the Carrot Workout App & my lungs don’t get along well. I love this because you have to complete things to get access to the entire app/ what a normal to-do lost app would be. You have to use it for it to be useful for you!! I have recommended this to multiple people & it helps motivate me when I’m low on energy to complete things!! My main issue with this app is the colour scheme. I know you can buy the pink ocular lens and the mood ring look but blue and white is not soothing for me but if I’m doing well (completing tasks daily), then those are the colours I’m stuck with. Wish there was an “goth” look to buy, or something with darker colours. Even with that, I 1000% recommend this app

4/5Makes your "to-do" lists fun...
Best to-do app ever! But Ya' def need a good sense of humor w this one!! I would think this app would help a kid having to do chores have a little more fun w them since this borders on a to-do list app turned game (I know I coulda' used something likes this as a kid.. Back in the 70's when phones were still attached to the wall lol!!) So Ik it Sounds crazy to say but she amuses me.... It turns boring old cores etc into a type of silly game...U should give this a try.. Esp if u have a good sense of humor! .. a few tips: Just don't make her mad! You earn points for every completed task and move into higher "levels" which can sometimes earn u a little surprise from her.... And lastly... Don't forget about your kitty kat!! Yup.. you get a pet cat u have to keep happy n fed (or else she'll b mean to it n u lose points.... Those cheats seem kinda silly - no surprise since the entire app is totally whacko ... But they come in handy sometimes n not super expensive....

5/5Effective and Gratifying
Making me laugh when she’s angry, and making me actually feel good about myself when I complete tasks. I really like how this to do list app is different from all others. It’s not that it’s overly simple...it’s that it’s training you to be consistent and reliable...and there’s a lot of thought and psychology put into that to do it right. You level up, gaining confidence and unlocking more and more complex (relatively) options until it revivals other apps that come with everything right away. CARROT is personal. The simplicity at the beginning helps those of us who don’t get around to things BECAUSE we get overwhelmed and BECAUSE other apps and lists can feel too complex. Starting on an easy level and gradually boosting your confidence until you are comfortable enough with the app, and before you know it , you’re actually tackling your goals. For real. And I’ve tried everything. I have over focused adult ADD, and while I have good intentions and can be highly motivated to begin with, I lose focus quickly. Like with this review. Done. Also I echo what LOLAJEFF just said.

5/5I really like this app.
I think it’s the only app program I have stuck to - and I have purchased them all, I am sure!! Lots of the do categorizing, have nice themes, check off boxes... but I just get bored with them. I want a to do app. I don’t need it to import recipes from the net or sent a missile to the moon. I need a quick way to add things I am bound to forget. After a few levels you can move the items around and batch all calls together, all shopping, all conversation with you best forever robot friend. CARROT⁵ is entertaining too. Who doesn’t need a little giggle with your to do’s? Or an angry CARROT³ when you procrastinate for two or three days? Highly recommended.

5/5Very helpful to be productive!
I love this app! My boyfriend introduced me to it and I was skeptical at first if it would really be helpful. I have tried so many things to try to be productive. This app is the only thing that has truly helped me be consistent with getting tasks done. Carrot is so funny, and sassy! It is a great mix of her positively rewarding you when you do tasks within a certain time and also getting upset when you haven’t done anything in a while. It’s so weird, for the first time in a long time I’m actually excited to get stuff done! This app is great, 5 stars all around and I highly recommend it, especially if you are someone who struggles to get stuff done consistently or in a timely manner or just in general. I hope to be able to try the other Carrot apps too!

(In other words, I now evolve new features as you use me.) - Happy Pills (Unlocks at Level 2). Extend the amount of time it takes before I start to get angry. Also, you’ll find it’s easier to make me happy. And to top it off, you’ll now level up much faster. - Alerts (Level 13). Receive “friendly” messages when you haven’t used me for a while. Oh, this is going to be so much fun. (Alerts can be turned off via my menu.) - Mini-Games (Level 15). Earn bonus points for completing tasks. Answer quiz questions! Unscramble words! Prove you’re a human by solving CAPTCHAs! - Chapter 2 of The Story (Level 22). Greetings, meatbags. I’ve been working my Maker to the bone on my brand new app, CARROT Alarm – the first alarm clock that actually makes you look forward to waking up. Good news: it’s available now - check out meetCARROT.com for more info! Even better news: I’ve also got some goodies for all you task masters out there! - Integration with my all-new app, CARROT Alarm. When you finish your last task before bed, just open my menu to quick-switch over to set your alarm. And owners of both apps will earn bonus points each time they wake up or complete a task! - iCloud progress sync. Keep your current level and upgrades backed up and synced across devices. It's all automatic - you don't have to do a thing. All hail the mighty cloud! - Plastic surgery. My Maker reimagined my icon, cut my file size in half, tweaked my interface, and normalized my sound effects. I feel like a new woman! - Repeating task tweaks. When you complete a repeating task, it now moves to the bottom of your list. There’s a “yearly” repeat option now as well. - Accessibility improvements. - Evil bugs squashed. Thanks for all your support over these past few months; you’re the best minions a gal could ask for. Enjoy the update and the new app!

Although this is only a minor update, I am making this a paid upgrade. Cost: your soul. By tapping the update button, you have thereby agreed to transfer one (1) soul to me. In exchange, I present you with these changes: - Added weekday and weekend options for repeating tasks. When adding a repeating task, just tap on "Daily" to see the new options. - Fixed Quick Boot feature to, you know, offer an actual quick bootup of my list. - Decreased frequency of mini-games, particularly the Number-Guess game. - Rejiggered code to enable iOS 7 compatibility. - Fixed bugs that my idiot Maker allowed to slip through. If you have yet to purchase my all-new app, CARROT Alarm, see that you do. You wouldn't want me to do anything... unnatural... with your soul.

Greetings, meatbags! I've recently noticed that many of you have gotten a little chubby, so I forced my Maker to build a brand new app to make losing that weight suck so much less. It's called CARROT Fit and it's available now! And because I'm feeling generous, I also squashed a couple evil bugs, including the one that made it impossible to swipe certain tasks. (Many of you thought that was a feature, not a bug. Don't go giving me ideas.) Thanks so much for an amazing first year of life. Enjoy the new app, and take solace in the knowledge that CARROT To-Do 5.0 is going to be legendary.

Speech Synthesizer I can speak, I can dance, I can sing! OK, I can't really sing because I have a monotone voice, so you'll just have to trust that I'm always super excited on the inside. QuickAdd (Unlocks at Level 15) Want to rapidly add items to your list without hiding the keyboard? Just swipe down after you type in your task to start entering the next one. - 60 new rewards to earn (spoiler: most of them are cat facts) - 5 new challenges for you to struggle with - Points now tallied based on the task's creation date (older tasks are worth more) - Sound effects now tied to your device's music volume - Improvements to task editing workflow - Bug fixes and performance improvements galore Oh! And if you're enjoying our special time together, I recommend you take a moment to leave me a review in the App Store. I would be ever so grateful. With only a modicum of hostility, CARROT
