   I treat myself every day to some kind of coffee in the morning. It’s some thing I do for Me! So trust me, I’ve tried all the little coffee pop-ups. The first time I tried caravan was on a trip to Minnesota, when they came to Missouri, especially in Parkville I was so excited. So here’s the scoop quality I can always rely on getting the same drink. Every time I go no matter who makes it. That’s a great plus in the coffee world as you all now cleanliness no matter if I go outside or inside it’s always tractive the areas are clean, even the restrooms. I also love the fact that they have unique and great extras for you to buy. I have bought several of their cups mugs for other people that said they could not keep the coffee hot. My one friend is 83 and he’s drinking his cup for over 10 years smile! He tells everyone how great it is and how is the only thing that keeps his coffee warm. One of the bigger things to me is the fact in the world that we live in with there is so much negativity and people don’t smile like they used to. I can always rely on being greeted with kindness or at least you can hear in the voice that they’re happy you’re there and I love the way you were greeted at the window or when you go inside there is an aura of happiness and they smile. Thank you for making my day.

2. 5/5App is missing 1 critical item

   I recently (within the last year) made the decision to switch from Starbucks to Caribou. I still have a couple bucks left on my Starbucks app. Probably won’t use. Anyway, I find the Caribou mobile app is easy to use, easy to select items and build-your own with options, and easy to reload. I admit that I usually pre-order the same drink, a large, double- moosed, skim milk, 1/2 flavored latte, regular temp, no froth. I haven’t figured out how to add a tip when using the app. Starbucks added the feature that allows you to finish after picking up in the drive through. I’d like to see Caribou do the same. Of course, it doesn’t hurt me to burn 3 calories of my 200 calorie latte by walking in and putting a buck into the tip jar. Adding a tip option to the app will add a nice time saving convenience for me. I’d rate the app 5 star if we could make this minor mod on an upcoming release. 😊 Thanks Caribou for making my transition to a less-bitter coffee so smooth😄!

3. 1/5App overriding card on file

   My brother, partner, and I all live together and were big fans of Caribou. We took turns buying coffee almost everyday over the course of February through October. Using the app made things incredibly easy especially with the feature of adding a card on file making paying a breeze. Occasionally I would use my account but type in my brother’s card information if it was his turn to buy but he was busy with work. Unbeknownst to us, the Caribou app somehow started charging his card for EVERYTHING even if I clicked to use my saved card. I never clicked the box to replace my card. My card still shows as the card on file. 7-8 months of purchases are now on his card and we have no idea how it happened. That is $1800-$2000 that went onto his card and we have no idea what should be charged to his card and how much to mine. We tried reaching out to Caribou’s customer service team but have been ignored outside of one of the customer service reps blaming us for using a feature of the app. While at this point I don’t see them every taking responsibility for this app doing this, it would at least be nice to know how much each card should have been charged since the receipts don’t say. Unfortunately all 3 of us have stopped going to Caribou because clearly they don’t respect those that chose to support them during these trying times. Maybe it is the app developers we need to have a beef with. Who knows. If I were you I’d keep an eye on your credit card statements so you don’t get screwed over too.

4. 3/5Where is the curbside option?

   The previous version of this app was well-designed and worked great. The new version also works great but is far less useful, which seems to be because of decisions made at the corporate level. The big advantage of this app used to be you could order a drink, wait in your car at the curbside pick up point, and your drink would be brought out to you. It was convenient and efficient. The app would let you specify your car model and color so there was no confusion. The curbside option is no longer there. Instead, there are walk-in and drive-through options. Why do you need an app if you’re going to walk into the store? And the drive-through option just means you don’t have to hand them money, but you still have to sit in line. There have been two instances at my local store where I have ordered using the app, gotten in the drive-through line to let them know I placed an order on the app, and I was told to pull up to the curbside pick up location. At which point I was completely forgotten, and my drink was sitting there getting cold at the drive-through window. I had to get out of the car and go in and ask for it. The whole system does not work very well at all. Caribou should go back to having the curbside option.

5. 1/5I Thought This Would Save Time.....

   I thought this app would save time by not having to wait in line but, I had to wait longer than those in line when I arrived and ended up leaving with nothing. After arriving at the designated time, I watched customer after customer order and receive their items. I thought they were busy and it would be out soon. About 15 minutes after my designated time I asked about my order and was told they were out of the sausage biscuit. I received absolutely no notification. Then it was my responsibility to ask for a refund on my rewards card. I was leaving and was getting a feeling they were not going to do it. So I came back in and ask again if they were going to give me a refund and the was asked if I wanted cash or back on my rewards card. I said cash. They gave me $5 and some change of my $8.95 order. I had to tell him my order was 8.95. Oh, but you ordered coffee. I told him the cup of coffee had been sitting there for a 1/2 hour with no name on it and several servers had to handle it by taking off the lid to see what was inside, I went on to say I already have to go somewhere else to grab breakfast and would get coffee at that time. He then proceeds to had me more cash. The app would great if they could send you notifications regarding substitutions and when your order was ready for pick up. Won’t be using this app again. It certainly was not a time saver. I am hoping much of the issues are related to this specific location. This app does not allow you to provide feedback within the app.
