5/5Very easy to use for newbies
I have been collecting sports cards for awhile now and accumulated quite a bit of older ones and grading them was fairly hard at first with the turnaround times, cost, etc. this app allows you to determine ahead of time what your card will most likely grade at saving not only me but everyone time and money. Their AI system is top notch and to add the human touch with the grade as well is awesome.

2/5UPDATE Good idea, but sketchy results
Update. Received my first card back from PSA that I paid extra to have Card Grader Pro to have a human look at it. They said my 1957 Topps card was a 6 by their experienced grader at Card Grader. It came back from PSA with a grade of 2. Not even in the same ballpark. I give it 2 stars for only identifying the athletes name;). Unfortunately I purchased the 1 year subscription, so I can kiss $50 good bye. I have scanned about 25 modern cards. Several directly out of packs and all but 1 came back an 8. The 1 card came back a 9. I understand that 10’s are hard to come by, but I find it hard to believe that 24 Topps and Bowman cards out of numerous different packs straight to a penny sleeve and top holder would all grade out at 8’s. I’ve even tried cards I would never send off to grade, but with a magnifying glass i would bet my left arm were at least 9’s…. Nope, you guessed it 8;). Wish I had my money back after 1 day of using.

3/5Not as accurate as to be usuful
Was hoping this would cut down in my pregrading time or even allow me to efficiently pregrade cards before i purchase them online (revolutionary idea right there). Unfortunately upon testing this it is completely inaccurate at least in the free version. I went through my current grade pile of cards that have already been hand selected to be 10s (and i have a high gem rate) and it gave the same information every time for every card. "Psa 9, minor corner wear and surface imperfections". I got suspicious and did some cards i deliberately would never grade and got the same message. Their ai is trash. Might be good if you are unable to pregrade but i wouldnt trust it at all without looking yourself. Cool idea, just not advanced enough to actually work. Ill stick with my own eyes for the tine being.

1/5Extremely disappointing
I was excited to try this app, especially after seeing such positive reviews. I don’t feel that way anymore. The AI grades I get for my cards are almost always the same, including the sub grades. How is it that time after time regardless of what card I put in could get the same exact overall grade with the same exact sub grades? The worst part though, are the human grades. Every card older than 1980 that I submit for human grading gets the same exact grade and the same exact generic comment. What was the point of paying $50 for the pro version? It is quite obvious that no “human” is grading these cards. I feel like I have been swindled out of $50. Do yourself a huge favor and don’t waste your time or your money on this app.

4/5Good grades, AI decent
Great app, gives good performance, scouts prices decently, I think that the human grading thing is actually a really good idea. Only complaint is no matter how hard I try, I can never get a 10. I have cards I’ve scanned with absolutely nothing wrong, and the AI is giving me 8s and telling me my card has problems that it doesn’t actually when I look at it. AI is still very useful and gives some good grades, but I feel biases away from very high and very low grades.
