1. 2/5Rarely works, sporadic notifications and delayed (or never receive) emails

   I have to use this app because our state requires it. It was fine for the first half of the year and then I realized I wasn’t receiving any of the email communications the teachers would send through the app. I never touched my settings but for some reason Infinite Campus had me flagged to not receive emails. Then the notification bubble (red bubble) has NEVER worked so I have to keep the app open all the time to see if I receive an update along with turning on with all of the notifications. Lastly, the emails around missing or failing assignments comes through WEEKS after the teacher makes the update. How’s that “timely?” This app needs an overhaul because based on other parent experiences it’s very clunky for being a widely used app in America’s schools.

2. 1/5Was ok, gets worse over time

   We have to use this software, it’s what our district was sold. It didn’t used to be too bad. Not particularly helpful, but at least it allowed us to see grades and pay lunch accounts from a mobile device. In a recent update though they removed the ability to see grades. Which is crazy since this app has 3 main functions, see grades, get class info, pay fees. And the class info is pretty minimal. So now what’s the point? The software works most of the time. Ironically not during the week they went back to school, which was a nuisance. Couldn’t see class info, or pay fees at the one time of year you need to. And now we can’t see grades anymore. I guess I don’t understand why we even have this app anymore.

3. 5/5I Fixed the Issue

   It worked fine all year then one day I was meet with a big green screen with an error message in the center on both the app and desktop. The district security system flagged my personal home WiFi IP address for whatever reason. How I know, when I turned my WIFI off on my phone and just used my cell data and a browser (not the app) it worked. Cell phone has a different IP. To fix it, I just unplugged my WiFi router from the wall for 6 minutes. My specific provider gives us a new IP each time it’s unplugged. Now, it’s back working on my app and desktop using my WiFi. If this doesn’t work for you just call your school district desk help support to see if they can troubleshoot your account. The app works great. I get to make sure the school isn’t accidentally making my child absent when she’s actually there in class on time like they were doing before.

4. 4/5Much easier to use & understand!

   I really appreciate the recent changes made to this app. I don't normally write reviews but this is an app that I use nearly everyday. I have a very intelligent child, albeit, a lazy one. He is constantly turning things in late etc... I am able to stay on top him and his assnmts & due dates using this app. The recent changes have made tracking assnmts, duedates, grades , etc...so much easier. I used to get so confused and frustrated using the old version. Ugh,it was dreadful! Now, I can log in, find what I need, and go. I give it 4 stars only because, as with everything in life, there is always room for some sort of improvement. However, this app is truly a wonderful thing and has opened a whole new line of communication between the school (teachers) and myself, but most importantly, me and my child. So far, I'm loving it!    This app works okay when it actually works. I understand the switch from the old app to this one, but it is not reliable. I got logged out and could not log back in. It would just go back to the login page. I tried the desk top website after they reset my password like they suggested. It still did not work for me. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app like they suggested. And it STILL did not work. I finally had to contact the school and have them reset my password AND set my password. I still can not log into the app after all of that. I understand schools going paperless, but we HAVE to have a reliable way to get our kids grades. I hope they get this app figured out because it is not helpful when we can’t even get logged in. Very frustrating.
