  1. 5/5Love this app

I love this app - marries my many Google calendars with the ability to make them disappear so I can write out and plan my daily priorities on a calendar. I work at home and this is my portable whiteboard calendar for planning out my work projects each day. I love that it lets me view and flip back and forth between my Google events and my handwritten plan — or view them both together in week or day view. The app has functioned smoothly and does exactly what I want it to (plus a bunch of stuff I don’t personally use because I have other apps for journals and for To Dos - Nebo and To Do). I love the different colors and settings for the pencil so I can color-code my projects (picking a color from the CMYK/RGB color picker would be a great addition but there are several colors to choose from now, so I’m happy). One thing I’d reeeeeally like to see added is the ability to export the calendar to print out a particular view!

  2. 5/5Finally!

I’ve been looking for an app that marries the affordances of digital tools with the tactile experience of the Apple Pencil. This app checks all the boxes. The more I use it, the more I discover nice touches. Calendar, tasks, notes, and journal. It’s got them all. You can write in your tasks one after another on individual lines. You can assign them to dates and have them appear in the calendar. You can draw on your calendar while also importing your system calendar events as well. You can record longer form entries into a daily journal. In each case, you can have the feel of writing by hand with the advantages of an electronic device. If you want to keep a handwritten calendar but do not want to write on a plain or hyperlinked PDF, this app is perfect for you. Finally, each update just brings this app closer and closer to perfection. Can I give it six stars?

  3. 5/5Pencil Perfection

If you own an iPad and use an Apple Pencil, this app should be on your device. It marries the handwriting experience of the Apple Pencil with the digital affordances of the iPad, iPhone, and Mac. You can integrate digital calendar events with your handwritten tasks and notes. When you handwrite your tasks, the app automatically creates a new line for your next task. If you want to schedule your handwritten tasks, you can add a date and time. The task appears in your task list and on your calendar. You can check off the task in either location. Your handwritten tasks look gorgeous on the Mac and iPhone. Now it is up to Apple to integrate the Pencil into its entire iPhone and Mac ecosystem. When that happens, this app will absolutely take off. Until then, you'll need to use your finger on those other devices.

  4. 5/5Great for a college student!

I have been loving app. It seeks to combine scheduling, task management, and note taking all in one space. With what is currently possible this is perfect for those who need that physical sensation and flexibility to cross out a task or pencil in an event. I’ve been using this as a college student for a few months now and it works great for everything I need. It isn’t entirely there yet in terms of features and has some bugs, but being created by a solo developer this app has some truly great potential. Cannot wait to see this improved. Great response time from developer if you have any concerns as well, and a fair and simple pricing model.

  5. 3/5super helpful — but app self-quits and loses entries

This app has been really useful for organizing and customizing my calendar organically in a way standard apps cannot do, which has been extremely helpful because I struggle with organization and processing information. I genuinely enjoy and appreciate this app. But the app sometimes quits while I’m in the middle of writing something and i have to start over — and just now it force-quit and erased several notes that I’ve had on the calendar for weeks, and many of my copy/paste notes were half-done, as if the app had quit while i were still in the process of pasting and arranging them, even though i did that *weeks* ago. I no longer remember what i had written on my calendar and which ones are missing, and some important things i was logging to keep track of are now gone. Why is there no back-up function for such an important tool? I have ADHD so organizational tools are extremely important for me to remember what needs to be done or where I need to go, this is majorly frustrating and stressful. I don’t know if this is a problem with typed entries because i have only ever written my events by hand, but it happens often if I’ve been writing and editing too many calendar entries in one sitting. I hope that information helps you troubleshoot and address the problem.
