1. 4/5Great with a few problems

   I love using this app, I basically use it as my bank register to keep track of finances. Overall it’s great! However, it shuts down which can be annoying, and I’m still not sure what button it is but I have accidentally deleted my entire calculation page with one button quite a few times which is also very annoying.

2. 5/5This is a handy Calculator app

   I am using this app since around 5-6 years without any issues. Unlike other similar apps available for iOS, I like the tape format which helps me to continue performing my new calculations… while the old calculations are still available for future reference. I also like the feature that helps me to save calculations under different tape names, because at a later date I can reopen the saved tape (as if it is like a document) related to a particular matter and refer my old calculations. However, I am disappointed to see that the developer has almost stopped updating (or enhancing) this app, because I see the last update was released around 1 year ago. I would like to see more frequent updates to keep this useful app alive. Keep up the good work👍

3. 2/5Highly efficient as a slideover companion

   EDIT: If I add CalcTape as a slide over, or a new split screen, it just gives me a light blue empty box. The only way to use it is to start it in full screen and add another app in split screen. Slide over does not work at all. Split screen only works as started above and then only if it’s given a bigger chunk of the screen. It looks like the best calculator is not updated anymore. Take away two more stars. Please fix this??? Thought I had a great calculator until I found this one. Just finished filing taxes with TT, and having CalcTape in slideover mode is the perfect companion. Deductions especially require lots of totals. One tap easily places the most recent total onto the clipboard to carry it back to the tax app. The multiple tapes can be saved to Dropbox with all the other documentation. They can be used as templates for next year as they are easy to edit. Usually use a simple spreadsheet but abandoned it this year. Love the ability to start with a standard keyboard and customize it to have exactly what is needed. Three easily selectable keypads are better than one. I have added CalcTape to my iPad essentials list. EDIT: It's crashing frequently when used in slideover mode on iPad. I had to take away a star for this.

4. 5/5The A/C red button is in the wrong place

   I love this app but every time I want to add words to label or add number I have to keep clicking the keyboard or tape buttons that are right next to the red A/C clear it all button. Too many times have I lost months of data that I’ve entered over time because that red button is in the wrong spot. This red button needs to be at the button of the selections so there is no way to hit this button by mistake. I’m frustrated and hoping you will read my post to make some positive changes.

5. 3/5Was working great now not

   Idk what happened it used to work fine even with low signal but now my calculations just disappear randomly. It’s very frustrating. I don’t always have a lot of signal I need this to work offline too. I need to be able to keep working on things anytime I can save to device and they disappear more often. Just gone. So frustrated. I need to be able to rename the calculations not just have them numbered with date and time. Whatever text I put at top should be the name but it’s not. It was on a couple idk how I managed that but not anymore.
