5/5The new app is great!
Love the new look and feel of the app!I’ve been trying to use this app for the past six years and like others have also mentioned, felt that it was clunky and would crash constantly. Finally, with the new app things seem to be running really smoothly (so far). I like the new layout and sections better as well. This just made this app so much more usable for me. Love it.

1/5Best Terrible App
The site is great, the content is valuable, but the app is awful and BI apparently will not fix it. As others have noted, the app constantly freezes, crashes, etc. But what is not mentioned is that BI's attempted fix is to let the app eat up all available memory on an iPhone. The app will just keep expanding in size to keep itself running until your phone's memory is full. Mine went to 28gb today! Then the only fix is to delete the app from your phone and start over. You'd think with all the success that BI has had, and their understanding of the importance of mobile, that they'd get this app fixed. But after years of waiting, there is still no sign... PS. As an update many months later, the app is still awful despite the site's terrific (for the most part) content. Every time there's an IOS upgrade, it crashes, freezes, etc, all over again. Much of the trouble stems from the app being so jammed with ads that you can barely read an article. Also you can't view any videos in posts unless you're on Twitter. All videos go through Twitter, so for those not interested in the Twitter hate screaming, no video content from BI. Once again, amazingly bad approach from a site that claims to understand and value mobile... PSS. The newest update is even worse! On the iPhone 11Pro I cannot get farther than three stories in before the app crashes... Also the new design with huge sections in an ugly BOLD font looks like it was meant for kindergarten readers. Maybe it was, given the level of design acumen here... Again, unbelievable for a business site that claims to get the importance of mobile...

2/5Please add support for Apple News
I have subscriptions to WSJ and Business Insider (both purchased, separately, directly from the publishers - not through Apple). When I want to read WSJ content on Apple News I get the option to login to my WSJ account. This allows me to read WSJ without getting an Apple News+ subscription. However, there is no option to login to my Business Insider account on Apple News. So the only way to read Insider is through the app (which isn’t aesthetically appealing in the slightest). Please add support for using Insider subscription in Apple News like WSJ allows!!! I’m saving Insider money by purchasing directly from you instead of using Apple, why would you not allow me to use this subscription in Apple News??

1/5Good Content with Horrible Technology
Business Insider has well thought out content (forgiving their obvious over the top liberal leanings) for business. Unfortunately and amazingly even their paid product’s interface on iPad Professional’s or website is just plain bad! Do you guys try logging into your own site without an iPad App (ie your target market clearly has these) you can at least make your safari site version 1) enable you to log into the site (log-in screen doesn’t work), 2) when logged in via iPhones and the automatically opening the app having to sign in again 10 seconds later is just stupid. Get with the program and focus more on your business and less on chastising conservative outlook that was legally elected to the White House!

2/5Decent but Biased
Content it good for keeping up with current events and the personal finance articles can be interesting from time to time. Other than thats its just another biased news source. Most articles on politics and the economy lean Left, which is fine both sides are respectable, but it would be nice to either have equal amount of articles on both sides so we can see the whole picture or only have articles that list out all facts without opinions sprinkled in. Not trying to pick a side or anything, i just don't like being influenced by articles that hide information that doesn't support their argument which i see a lot on here.
