  1. 1/5Terrible

Don’t waste too much of your time with this app. There isn’t a way to add new profiles and it’s very glitchy. Bushnell you have a lot of work to do.

  2. 5/5Awesome

I haven’t used this in the field yet, but I think it’s going to be outstanding. I’ve got my default 5.56 M193 load plugged in, and with a 50 yard zero, my first hold point down says 245 yards, which sounds exactly correct according to my old ballistic calculations. But now I don’t need to spend time beforehand making range cards for different variables and guessing what the humidity, exact elevation or barometric pressure is because the app has all current conditions taken into account. If you know your approximate muzzle velocity, and bullet information like ballistic coefficient you can edit the profile to match everything specific to your ammunition and rifle.

  3. 1/5Utter garbage

Downloaded for 22 rimfire dope. Very clunky to use. Plenty of free ballistic calculators out there that are easier to use and offer more details. Save your time and pass on this one.

  4. 1/5Very Disappointed

This app is supposed to go with one of their most expensive range finders (1800 Nitro) and is difficult to operate. Inputting bullet information is difficult and the preset ammunition is lacking very common calibers. There is no 300 win Mag, No 7mm Rem Mag, No .270 Winchester and No 6.5 Creedmoor. When you input your ammunition’s information it does not save it all the time and you can’t put in your own bullet drop, from what I can find. You can upgrade the app by paying money but I don’t think it will fix these issues if I do. This could be a much better product if there was a little more effort into making this user friendly.

  5. 5/5Know your calibers!!!

First let me say, many “consumer names” for calibers are confusing and so you need to understand what your ACTUALLY shooting. Ie. 308 and 30-06 ARE THE SAME CALIBERS! Yes, a 30-06 is actually a larger original 308, and actually 308 is a smaller version of the 30-06 but you need to understand they have any calibers that aren’t the name consumers expect! Next, if you have Display on Zoom or a larger text set, some features disappear. This is because their developers are idiots and only have 20-20 vision, us old folks, well go back to default display, set it up and THEN go to Zoom and/or larger text. (Note to developers, hand your app to your grand father or father if his over 60! Test because this is an EASY FIX!) Next, IF YOU UPGRADE you lose your presets, this might be a technical fix or maybe an Apple limitation! So copy or screenshot (power button and volume up button) BEFORE you upgrade to Sport or Elite. This app and range finder works and thank gosh I work in tech because I can 100% guarantee you no one else would have figure it out! The devs don’t work with consumers and Bushnell product manager is an idiot for not maintaining the UI for their consumers vs the dev military focus (we’re not all 25 y/o snipers with 20/20 vision.) 5 stars, only in HOPES there’s updates to fix the UI to work with the latest iOS and iPhones!!
