  1. 4/5Integration with Slack and Discord

Feedback: I've been greatly enjoying the simplicity and user-friendly interface of your app. It's evident that a lot of thought and effort has been poured into its development. However, I couldn’t help but notice the absence of integration with Slack and Discord which are prominent platforms in the current social digital era. Their integration could significantly enhance the collaborative and social interaction capabilities of your app, aligning it with the communication tools many have become accustomed to. Suggestion: Considering the widespread use and popularity of Slack and Discord, integrating them into your app could provide a more seamless and enriched user experience. This integration could facilitate real-time conversations, file sharing, and overall better coordination among users. Moreover, it could potentially broaden the user base by attracting communities already established on these platforms. Question: Is there any plan in the near future to incorporate Slack and Discord integrations into your app? This feature could be a game changer in promoting a collaborative environment and ensuring the app stays relevant and competitive in the market.

  2. 1/5an absolute headache

I’ve never once left a review on any application ever and it’s sad I have to do so here. I have to warn creators who want to actually save time on their content business and caution the headache this app has caused. I’ve spent more time going back and forth with the support team than actually creating and posting the content. Nearly every day, I’d have posts fail and not go live. Captions would be messed up. Posts that were uploaded in vertical video would end up being stretched out or condensed into a square upload. And FORGET trying to save time by uploading multiple posts at once. There’s really no other way to describe the issues I experienced with this app other than it’s ‘janky’ and not reliable. My email is filled with support tickets with these guys, and I will say they were always nice and apologetic but after experiencing problem after problem day after day, it just got frustrating. You’d be better off and save more time by literally posting each piece of content individually to each platform than dealing with the problems this app causes. I’ve experienced it first hand. I will say though, posting tweets that were text never gave me an issue. Scheduling tweets will work fine if that’s all you want to do, but if you’re in video, forget it and find another service.

  3. 3/5poor cross-platform experience

What bothers me the most is needing to switch between my phone and computer because you can write and schedule text-only drafts in the iOS app, but they’re only convenient to view on a desktop browser. The desktop has a nice and readable calendar layout, but the app doesn’t, so you can’t see what is drafted where on the calendar, and you apparently can’t sort drafts by anything other than when you made them either, so I can’t quickly check my drafts on my phone to see what posts I need to create. what’s the point of a social media planner if I can’t plan posts before they’re already made? the “ideas” feature, which is called create on desktop and content in app, isn’t useful for planning dates unless you convert it to a scheduled draft, which, again, you can’t do on desktop without uploading media. The app interface is so different from the desktop, and sometimes differently labeled, that after months of using it I still struggle to locate things.

  4. 5/5BUFFER IS THE BEST

I've been on a quest for the perfect social media management tool for years. I've tried them all. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, you name it, I've probably given it a go. I'd bounce between them, always finding something I liked in one but missing in another. One had great analytics, but clunky scheduling. Another had a beautiful interface but lacked the content curation features I needed. It was a never-ending cycle of frustration. I was starting to think the perfect tool just didn't exist. Then I rediscovered Buffer. I'd tried it before, but for some reason, it hadn't clicked. This time, though? Game. Changer. Honestly, I'm done searching. I've found my social media soulmate. Buffer isn't just a scheduling tool; it's one of the best social media management platforms for my budget, which isn’t a large number by any means. I like that it’s affordable, and I love that I can connect to most of my fav social media platforms (they are working on more, tumblr and facebook personal account would be incredible). All in all if you’re looking for the answer to a seemingly never-ending feeling of buyers remorse (or subscribers, in this case) due to not being wholly satisfied with your current SMM tool, give Buffer a chance. Even if you already have, really take an hour or so to configure it and explore what you can do, how easily you can do it, and how mentally organized it makes you feel. Love you, Buffer!

  5. 3/5Pretty good

Updated Review April 2018: I had some decent success with Buffer last year and it was the first social app like I used. It wasn’t till now I realized Google is locked. I never got it to work with Instagram. And the main reason I used it was it linked well to LinkedIn. Despite having some months of issues with connection, it’s a nice feature. But with only 3 accounts allowed, I don’t see the difference between this free app vs Ripl or Everypost. Keep in mind I spend over 10k using industry specific listing sites, Google, and marketing social media tools. It’s kind of a let down until I got some real data sources backing up the pro price. Is there still an awesome plan? This app has done a pretty good job of sharing posts after using it for a year. Only downfall is the recent problems with linking to LinkedIn company pages. The link doesn't work anymore unless I start back over as personal. Hopefully that will be fixed soon! Note: would be nice to have Pinterest for free and better posting method to Instagram than just a reminder.
