As someone who travels fairly often Bucket Listers has been a great tool when exploring new cities. They have a great mix of touristy and local experiences so in the short time I’m in each city I get a chance to try both. They also seem to have a beat on more cities then just NYC and LA - having a experience options in places like Denver, Seattle, and Detroit which are cities people tend to forget about. I typically check here + their socials first and plan my trip accordingly. Highly recommend!

I got an email saying verbatim that an event was “coming to LA”, so I quickly bought tickets because it was a cool and unique event. Only after I placed the order, did I notice the map said the event was in Bakersfield, which is 2 whole hours from LA ( that’s with no traffic, with traffic it would be closer to 3 hours). I emailed this company to let them know about the error on the email and to ask for a refund due to their mistake, but they told me no refunds for any reason, even when it’s their own mistake. Their excuse was that Bakersfield is “in the vicinity of LA”. It absolutely is not in the vicinity of LA. That’s like saying Mexico is in the vicinity of LA, they’re both a similar distance from each other. And besides, the email said “coming to LA” not “coming to the vicinity of LA.” Absolutely ridiculous. Now I have to go through the trouble of opening a claim with my bank. Thankfully my bank is great with cases like this so I know they’ll force a refund form this company, but it’s such a waste of time all due to false advertising.

1/5Never use Bucketlisters, they have terrible support
I've had a terrible experience with Bucketlisters. They contacted me with barely more than 48 hours notice saying the haunted cocktail soiree time I had booked had a high demand so they were going to reschedule me and upgrade my ticket. The rescheduling was not a request, they told me it was happening. Then when I reached out to their support to reschedule, we went back and forth with them appearing to have no clue that they'd made the request for me to reschedule, acting like I was requesting it and telling me I needed to pay to upgrade my ticket. Here I am the day of the event, without a rescheduled ticket and no clue if the original ticket I purchased will even work. I will never be purchasing tickets through Bucket Listers again and I hope others can avoid having the same negative experience I went through. If you have an option to purchase tickets through another route, take it

I do genuinely enjoy BucketListers as a whole, but the app definitely needs a lot of work. There’s always glitches happening. There’s certain parts of the app that I can’t press. like if I want to specifically search in my city, I don’t have access to that if I want to change my city it takes so long because it just glitches so most of the times I just used their website and not their app it is very convenient to see what’s happening now, but you don’t have a lot of access to the entire thing and has somebody that likes to travel. I can’t switch between major cities.

5/5One of my favorite apps! Perfect for local use and also when traveling
We use this app all the time, even in our home city. It always has cool, unique things to do that we don’t even hear about from our friends/family, and we are then the ones who spread the word to them. Also perfect for when we travel and want to find something cool to do in that city. THIS APP IS A MUST!!!!
