This app does exactly as promised - deliver news the moment it breaks. By scanning more than a dozen news feeds from around the world, the app delivers up to the minute information! The developer should create a similar app with up to the minute info related to business news, markets, commodities, etc. Admittedly, I have only tried a few business-related apps, but so far, the ones I have sampled don’t seem to have the same, up-to-the-minute updates as does this one, nor are their notifications as prompt. Again, kudos for an app very well done!!

3/5Good but NewsCast Radio no longer working or updating
This is a great little app, but unfortunately the NewsCast radio section no longer seems to be updating the feeds. It was working just fine up to 3 days ago. Unfortunately now none of the NewsCast stations feeds seem to be updating at all. They’re all still stuck on the last update received from 3 days ago. Everything else in the app works just fine, so idk why the NewsCasts radio section no longer updates like the rest of the app does. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times on 2 different devices but unfortunately the problem still persists, so it seems the issue is not a client-side one. Too bad, I was using this app on a daily basis to listen to the news while at work. Now it seems I’ll have to look for an alternative news radio app. Oh well.

4/5NO Breaking News in 24 hours?
Used to regular refer to this app, but for several months now it has been slow to update. Earlier today, for frustrated after the most recent breaking news item was posted 24 hours ago, I deleted the app and started over, including selecting the news sources I wanted to include. Now, hours later, when I visit the app, all I see is a blank screen. I downloaded another breaking news app with lots of ads, even though I prefer this one, because that other app does actually deliver news, which is better than being left in the dark.

5/5A newsroom at your fingertips!
Back when politisite was doing twenty-four hour breaking political news, we had a room of monitors, wire service feeds and several dishes that continued to scan the sky. This app gives the average end user access to all of that just by having a smart phone. Very satisfied that I don’t have to be stuck to my office. What I like the best, I can decide what sources I get alerts from. In short, this is the best and fastest app out there for breaking news.

Dev responded and fixed the issue described below. I’m back on board and a huge fan once again. Many thanks! Why have a half page ad covering up the bottom half of the app that can’t be turned off? Seriously! And if you dare hit the microscopic delete ad icon it LAUNCHES YOUR BROWSER INTO THE AD WEBSITE!!! Horrible idea Breaking News devs… you guys should be fired for ruining this once great app. Stupid ads you can’t turn off is why I deleted your greedy app and replaced it with Ground News. Send me an email if you ever bother to right the sinking ship.
