1. 3/5Would pay more for a more user friendly app

   In most basic functions of stocking in and stocking out, this app does well at an affordable price. But it is unable to create purchase orders based on low quantities, you are unable to have zero be a minimum quantity for a part - otherwise you won’t be notified when the part is out of stock, you are unable to track inventory efficiently per location, and you can’t set min/max’s for any location except your main location. And the min/max is for the part itself, so if your minimum is 3 and you have none available in your main warehouse, but a secondary location has 5 of those parts, it doesn’t notify you that one or any of your locations is running low. For a single warehouse, you are able to use this and be just fine. If you have multiple locations (like tech trucks) this app will mess up your numbers.

   I have using this app since 2022 and it has made my job easier. I use to keep track what I have in the warehouse. When doing physical counts in the store and can pull up BoxHero and scan the product and add to my point of sale system. No more going back and forth, thank you for making this app!

3. 5/5Best Inventory App for New Entrepreneurs

   I found this app by chance about a year ago. I loved how it has a bunch of different features in the free side. I am just starting out with my little business and am crunched for startup dollars. I have to pinch my pennies every way possible. Box Hero has been a great resource for me to keep track of my incoming and outgoing inventory, sales, and customers. The app allows their free users to make different types of subheadings under the inventory item and keep track of the things that matter the most to each individual user. I am a reseller and have to keep track of my sources, the dates I sourced, the price I sourced it at, the listing price, the sold price and I can even go in and make adjustments for the “reduced price” if I’ve marked an item down since its initial entry. It also allows you to add different locations if you have more than one, and add other team members who will be using it as well. Yes, that’s right all that..AND what prompted me to get around to writing the review is there are many new features that have been added to both the free and paid subscription offerings. You can send your lists out to excel, create barcodes and print them, I’m telling you that if you are like me and are just starting out and need to keep track of your inventory and sales, this is the app for you! I haven’t even tried the paid subscription service but I can only imagine that it is 10X more than the free side. I would have given this app 10 stars if it were an option! It has an in-app user manual that gives you explicit instructions on how to use it and a direct link to email customer support should you have any questions or problems. It is a new business entrepreneur’s dream inventory keeper! It really is a HERO to your boxes full of inventory! As a small business owner I can say with confidence that you will love the simplicity, the accuracy it provides and the quality of service it offers. You don’t see much of that with other free sides of applications like this one!

4. 4/5Great App for Small Projects

   I’ve been using BoxHero to organize inventory for my workplace with about 400 different individual items and have found it to be much easier than using a spreadsheet. The item creation process is simple and can import from excel and the barcode functionality is extremely helpful. The only thing I wish was that they use passwords instead of verification codes to make shared logins easier. Overall, great app and very user friendly.

5. 5/5Great app for inventory tracking!

   I am so glad we found BoxHero! We wouldn’t have been looking, except Sortly recently implemented a 300% increase on our plan, which is impossible for a small nonprofit. Thankfully, we are now using BoxHero and it has everything we need! It’s easy to use and works perfectly for our needs. Great customer service as well. -The Haven Impact
