4/5Great app, some room for improvement
This is a fantastic app. It helped tremendously with our overseas move. I didn’t have to wonder, “now, did we ship that, put it in our luggage, or store it in our storage unit?” By creating spaces, I could categorize items based upon where they were stored, how they were shipped, etc. It was super handy. I love the label and manifest creation. Works great. Just a few suggestions to make this app even better (5-star): 1. Allow us to add more than one photo of a box, to better capture its contents. One photo just doesn’t do it many times. 2. Add fields for box dimensions, volume, and weight. 3. Allow us to customize the fields that show in the manifest (so we can see weight, volume, etc.) 4. Add fields for item value, replacement cost, etc. These improvements would really simplify creating shipping manifests, insuring the contents of our move, etc. Still, this is a great app and I plan to continue to use it for our future moves.

5/5Best app on my phone!!!
OMG, I LOVE THIS APP! “Boxes” has made my life easier and packing boxes for storage or moving is so much easier. I can list my box items, add tags, labels, or important information to each box in the app. Items of boxes are searchable too! No more writing an item list on each box and then later wondering if items are in this or that box. Plus you can take a photo of items going into each box if you’re not into listing it all. Best of all, the keyboard microphone works to do the typing for me if I get tired of manually listing items! FYI: the first few boxes (10-15…can’t remember how many since I immediately purchased more “boxes” after giving it a try) are free, then I added more boxes and they are cheap and so worth it! Can’t say enough how much I love this app and to top it off, my husband loves it too. I was able to share my log in information with my husband so we could both be packing up our boxes in different rooms with immediate access and updates of each added box. That made my heart sing with joy because we don’t have to worry about accidentally labeling 2 different boxes with the same number.

I’ve been using Boxes for a while now, and it has completely streamlined how I manage my storage and organization. The app is intuitive, feature-rich, and does exactly what it promises. Whether you’re tracking items for a move, organizing seasonal decorations, or managing a growing collection, this app handles it all seamlessly. What sets Boxes apart is the author’s openness to suggestions and feature requests. I’ve reached out with ideas, and the response was incredibly positive and thoughtful. It’s rare to find a developer who listens to their users so closely and actively works to improve the app based on feedback. Considering the app’s functionality and support, it’s an outstanding value. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend giving it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

5/5No option to access your photo library
I WAS so excited about this app! I immediately headed to the storage room to re-organize my boxes, carefully taking pictures of the contents of each one. Because the storage room is sub-level with no Internet access, I could not utilize the app while I was down there. “No problem’l I thought, “I’ll just add the photos to my items when i can access the app again.” Well….I discovered that there is no option to access your photo library! If you want to include pictures with your items or boxes you have to do it in real time. Supposedly photos that you take in real time can be added to your library but not the reverse! So this app that I just paid for will not be as useful as I was hoping. I hope the developers fix this very soon!!

5/5You need this more than you realize
Like most of you we were selling a house to move into another house. We knew there would be some challenges so we anticipated it taking about 30 days to get into the new house. I am one of those people who wants to know where things are to be able to find them quickly and easily so I downloaded this app. Turns out we didn’t get into the house we were trying to buy for 14 months. That mint, we ended up in an apartment for over a year the ability to go to storage and search for something was invaluable for example. Winter coats would be a good thing and we knew which box the winter coats were in! Love the ability to scan the label and see the contents as well as pictures and I’ll continue to use it to organize my shop and garage. This is by far your best option to keep up with the things you’re moving or storing.

The manifest has been redesigned to allow customization of what's included. You can now pick and choose between 9 different elements, as well as increase (or decrease) the font size, and choose a new "extended" mode that will show the contents as a list that includes any values and quantities. By default, the manifest will appear exactly as it did in the previous version, but any changes you make will be saved and synced across all of your devices.
