1. 5/5Making life easier in a complex environment for a grandparent

   The new Bound app has a cleaner look and, for a grandparent with multiple teams to follow, makes following our grandchildren’s activities easier. The first impression was selecting our teams and that was much more effective. But, the most important improvement for us was purchasing tickets. Having grands in multiple sports in multiple conferences was a nightmare. But, the first week of purchasing tickets, the improvement was very clear; simple and easy to use. I wish Universities would use Bound Sports for their ticket system. The systems they use are confusing and difficult to navigate and it seems ease for the user is not a consideration. I know their bar is very low but, this new app raises the bar. Universities would benefit from using Bound tickets. Thank you.

2. 3/5★★★☆☆ Useful App, but Needs Stability

   ★★★☆☆ As a student athlete, I really like the idea behind this app. Having registration, schedules, ticketing, and school sports information all in one place is incredibly convenient, and once my information was added, my team schedule has worked well. Yet, it still prompted me to follow a team on the home screen (despite following two and my school district), unlike the images of the Home Screen they have posted on the App Store. Unfortunately, the setup process has been frustrating. My family downloaded the app to create a family account, but they were unable to get everything working correctly. After I received my invitation and registered, the app repeatedly failed to function properly, and I could only see my family information through a web browser- not the app itself. I updated my phone, checked for app updates, deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times, but the same issues kept happening. At one point, one of my parents was even locked out of their account, and the app crashes fairly often. I’m hopeful these issues can be improved because this app has a lot of potential. My biggest concern is reliability once the season starts. Families depend on this app for schedule changes, cancellations, and event information, and it can be stressful if they can’t access those updates when they need them most. Student Athletes as well. Overall, I think the concept is great, but the app could be much more user friendly and stable. I hope future updates focus on improving account setup, reducing crashes, and making the experience smoother for students and families alike.

   I already loved the regular varsity bound app, and decided to give Varsity Bound Gold a try, but decided not to continue paying for it since I’m still a high school student and don’t have a ton of money since I can only work on the weekends. I emailed them asking how to cancel. They told me, and also asked why I was making the decision to cancel. I told them, and I couldn’t believe their response! They said they appreciate me spending my limited money on them, and gave it to me free through this summer! These guys are awesome! A great app, but more importantly there are genuinely good people on the other end. I recommend the app for anybody!

4. 5/5Customer Service

   Bound has made getting tickets for my children’s sporting events so easy. With all the directions that we are pulled, it is nice to be able to purchase tickets, then assign them to the right child so that I can assure each kid gets where they’re supposed to be when they’re supposed to be there. Their customer service (Doug is a rockstar) is responsive and so helpful. I cannot rate this app high enough. A must have for parents of school aged children.

5. 3/5hard to use

   my entire cheer team and both the coaches had a problem logging in, it would show everyone the wrong screen and we had to wait for someone to come in and help. I cannot find the option to upload my physical despite looking up the tutorial on your site, i was literally not given the buttons provided on your tutorial. If this problem doesn't go away by tomorrow I wont be able to cheer. update: The cutsomer service guy is really nice and now I feel bad for complaining, but the site is still really confusing
