I love this app. It was on my phone for a while before I began testing it out and against 4 other apps this one has worked the best to filter out the scam emails from legit and coupon messages from my stores I buy from. The others I tried either are limited on filtering or they now have advertisements for nothing. I wish a future update would allow me to create a custom folder to filter some other types of messages I get

5/5This app saved my sanity.
I am on lists upon lists. Right now the spammers and scammers are taking a political angle. I added the area codes (like "+1 (111)" for the format to add to blocker, minus the quotes) that I have the most smishing/phishing trouble with AND keywords from all sides of the political spectrum, plus keywords on hot-button topics. As I get a new category to address, I add keywords there, too. These don't sync to using iMessage on MacBook or iMac, unfortunately, because I don't like using iCloud to sync messages. Anyway, I will definitely see if there's a tip jar because it's worth it to do so and write a review and I write app reviews maybe 5% or less of the time. The app author saved my sanity from deleting anywhere between 8 and 18 spam and smishing texts every day. Select all, "delete and report as junk" when I care to check, then voila.

5/5Great app, great price, support real people making quality products!
This application works exactly as described, successfully blocking unwanted text messages based on keyword or regex filtering. I donated to Biden’s campaign once in 2020, and have been getting 3 to 5 donation texts per day. Yes I’ll donate, but not if you spam me hundreds of times a months!!! Enter this app. Some simple keywords (“actblue”, always in the url, or “Stop2End”, never has a friend said that) are all it takes and they are sent to junk. So much better than these highly rated junk apps that force you into a $80 in app purchase to sign up (yes, I believe it was Hiya), just a simple application by a developer charging way too little. I even had an issue and got an email reply same day (my fault, not a bug). My only complaint is charge a little more… $5 or $9.99, people would pay it! Thanks for this app!

5/5Perfect simple utility!
Started using it with simple keyword matches which worked great! But as election season ramped up, a ton of messages kept getting through. Just upgraded my filters to use regex and now I think it should be even more effective. We desperately need this on MacOS though! It’s my understanding that Apple doesn’t currently support it, but I surely hope that changes soon! Anyway thanks so much for this much-needed app! And thanks x1000 for this super reasonable one-time-purchase when we’re drowning in subscription nonsense these days!

5/5It works but not for iMessage?
I have been using this for a couple of years and it works great to catch the garbage that I have filters set for. Unfortunately it seems or only work for SMS? I keep getting scam iMessagss from the Philippines for toll road violations and none of my filters catch them. I had filters with "Toll" and "toll" (shouldn't need both) and messages with "The Toll Roads" go right through. That's just one example. SMS always get caught, though. Could this be because I have iMessage in the cloud with iPad and Macbook? I haven't been able to figure it out.
