First off, AI can be a useful tool if ethically sourced and I do not know if the Voice Actors were properly compensated for the ai training. Text-to-speech also doesn't accentuate things the way a VA would, so the delivery is bland and sometimes misread. The app won't let you play the clip unless you pay, so this app is training AI off of free stuff and then changing us consumers for it?? Overall a promising idea but not done well. There are other places to find free audiobooks that will be preformed better than this AI, or you can buy the audiobook and support all the talent that went into making it instead of paying this AI App

I downloaded this app so I could listen to a textbook that is downloaded to my computer. The AI in this app started reading it just fine, but does not allow me to skip chapters. If I can’t skip to the current chapter I’m on, then this app is pointless. Also, the “contact us” button won’t do anything, so I have no way to contact the folks in charge to get this issue resolved. Pretty disappointing. If they fix those two HUGE issues, then this could be a great app.

I can turn any online content into audio, which is so helpful for staying updated on those long articles from news websites and blogs. If you have a lot of stuff to read, install this app.

2/5Very broken when working w/ kindle
I write very few reviews but I was so excited to have something that linked with my kindle that would read me books that don’t have an audible option. This just didn’t work well for me. I’m not sure why but it was consistently needing time to buffer and wouldn’t read more than a paragraph or two without needing a 15-20 second break. If I read it at 1.5-2 rate, it would also just start over at the beginning of the page. Very hard to follow along to a book when it’s very glitchy. I also have a iPhone 16 PM so I don’t think it was a phone or internet issue.

I am working with the trial of this product. It told me I could choose from many voices, but I did not see where that choice could be made. I sped up reading the text which resulted in a very choppy reading. It stops at the end of every line, even if there is no punctuation. It has a great pause before it goes to the top of the next page. If you were not looking at the pages and following the log, you would not be able to keep up with what was happening on the text.
