Moving in from another app? Version 2.2 makes it effortless. Import your library from Bookmory, Goodreads, StoryGraph, or Babelio and we'll add your books for you — matching them in the background while you keep reading, and letting you know the moment it's done. When we're not sure about a book, you get a quick one-tap review instead of a mess to clean up. We've also made signing in friendlier with a 6-digit email code, added per-channel progress sharing in your Nooks, and polished the experience on tablets and the big screen. Imports fixed: Other files now come in with their ISBNs, page counts and tags intact. Many more French books show up in search — always with a cover. No page count on your edition? Set the length yourself in the reading pane, in pages or in minutes for audiobooks, and log progress as a page or a percentage. Listening time no longer inflates your pages-read totals. Clearer buy links, and no more empty session cards in your feed.

Audiobooks now count in time. Set a book's length in hours and minutes, log your position as a timestamp, and see time elapsed or time left. Any book can be counted in pages or in time — your call. A calmer social side: • Messages have their own home — search every conversation and filter to unread • The bell is now an inbox — notifications and messages side by side • Two tabs instead of four, one card per reader, and a Following / Discover switch on the feed • See who's reading right now, and meet readers who read what you read • Privacy in plain words — Public, Friends only or Private — plus follow requests you can accept or decline Nooks you can arrange. Reorder and collapse channels, let members add their own poll options, rename discussions, and create a whole run of chapter channels in one go. Also in this release: push notifications now work properly on iPhone and iPad, French books get their series right, Paige runs on our strongest model with a new panel listing everything she can do, and plans are clearer — Creative and Premium side by side, with a 30-day free trial on Premium.

SHARE STUDIO — design what you share Every share card in Booknook is now a canvas you can actually edit. Pick a book, a list, a collection, a reading goal, a book haul, a book you just finished, your book club or your whole reader profile — then make the card yours: • Move, resize, rotate and lock anything on the canvas • Add text, stickers, photos, book covers, your rating or your progress • Colours, backgrounds, gradients, dots and grids, five new frames, layouts, confetti and sparkles • Export as a Story, a Square or a Post • Reset puts the card back exactly the way it arrived When you're happy with it: post it to your feed, download the image, send it through the share sheet, or copy a link. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE • Lists that count — a shared list keeps its real order, fits up to 36 books, and carries the same number or paw stickers you use in the list itself. • Book clubs worth an invitation — a Nook card is now a proper invite with your club's crest, and a public Nook has a real page anyone can open, no Booknook account needed. • Your reader card — your profile as a card: your banner, your avatar, your aura, a few true stats and a rail of covers. • Private books stay your call — posting about a book you've marked private asks first, and reveals it in that one post only. Your book stays private everywhere else. • Photos you can look at properly — pinch, double-tap and drag to zoom up to 6× in posts and messages. • Messages that actually send — photos are resized before they're sent, so a full-size phone photo goes through, and a failed send finally tells you why. • Polls about anything — Nook polls aren't only for books any more: vote on a theme, a date, or "none of these", with no duplicate options. • Better book lookups — an ISBN finds more editions, French titles included, and two different books no longer land on the same record. FIXES AND POLISH • Half stars now render as half stars on shared cards • Finishing a book celebrates even if you skip writing the review • Share Studio works on a desktop screen • A book you submit reaches our librarians reliably — a rejected one no longer sits at "under review" forever

Your reading month, as a story you can share. MONTHLY WRAP-UP Every month you read, Booknook now turns it into a set of cards you can swipe through: the covers you finished, your month by the numbers, your book of the month, and a day-by-day view of when you actually read. MAKE THE CARDS YOURS Edit any card in the Studio — move things around, choose which indicators appear, pick your own book of the month. Your changes are saved as a draft and stay put. SHARE THE WHOLE MONTH AT ONCE Export every card to your photo gallery in one tap, or post them straight to your Booknook feed with a word about the month. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE • Images in a post now have a real Save button — no more holding down the picture and hoping. • Fixed the bug where a like would quietly undo itself a second later. Reactions retry on a bad connection and tell you when they truly failed. • Visiting someone who reads in private now explains what's shared and what isn't, instead of showing an empty page. • Books in common: a new "Also shared" tab, and counts that match what you can actually see. • A cleaner reading calendar, a Queries tab in your stats, and a clear explanation when an edition has no page count to track progress against. • The reading-status button behaves the same everywhere, and tapping a book on someone else's shelf now takes you to the right place. • The Subscription tab lists what your plan actually includes.
