1. 5/5Great way to access scholarships!

   I originally downloaded this app with little hope that I’d be able to actually apply for scholarships, let alone be able to see them. But this app was the real deal. It allowed me to not only choose from hundreds of scholarships I’d like to apply for, but it also matched me up with some that were beneficial for me. One thing I really like about this app is how it's really keen on helping us get prepared for college and how each time we apply for a scholarship, we don’t have a long process to go through because they already prepared us for that. One thing I don’t like is that some scholarships take us to websites that might make us pay or have too many hoops to get to the actual scholarship itself, so I wish that, in like a sidebar or at least in the bio, you would have to have a subscription to get to the scholarship. If there really was anything that I would personally add, or I would tell the creators to at least add would be further information on certain scholarships that take you to websites that require you to do additional things to get to the scholarship. Other than that, for the most part, I’m pretty happy with this app.

2. 5/5BEST Scholarship Debit Card App!!

   I am incredibly thankful for an app that is directly linked to my scholarship funds, allowing me to track the money awarded to me while providing a centralized location for those funds. It simplifies the process of knowing which bank card to use for my school expenses. I absolutely LOVE that by applying for scholarships and using the website and app, I earn rewards that can be converted into cash for my bank card or applied directly to my student loans! The conversion rate is impressive; I just turned 1,500 points into $15! Plus, every time I use the card, I accumulate more points. For just spending $100, I earn 1,000 points, which translates to $10 back in cash or towards my loans! A big thank you to BOLD for this amazing app! I’ve already started transferring funds for everyday expenses, which gives me even more cash. I can also transfer my awarded scholarship money from my BOLD debit card to other checking accounts. I wish there were a feature to apply for scholarships directly through the app, and it would be great if they could incorporate that in the future and include notifications for new scholarship opportunities.

3. 5/5An app that wants you to succeed

   I downloaded the bold app because it allows you to access your scholarship money more quickly than waiting several weeks for universities to apply it. This makes actually preparing ahead of time for school very helpful when it comes to needing books, laptop, programs, and so on. Pros: - quick access to funds - able to link bank accounts to have everything in one place - can add the bold card to digital wallet. There’s an option for a physical card as well - account routing and checking and other bank details for bold is easy to find right on the app. It gives me the whole info rather than just the last 4 digits like a lot of other places do. Saves time and is convenient. - the whole interface is so user friendly, and I never have to guess where something is or how to make a transfer or anything else Cons: - something that could be improved is the ability to update personal info in the app rather than on the full bold website Also, some other improvements to think about might be including a personalized scholarship tracker where the user can see which ones apply directly to them. They could then have a goal-based scholarship plan/view where they get strategically recommended those scholarships, and where they could set the goal to something like “5k by March”. You could use a progress bar or have motivational badges when goals get met. Great app for students, would recommend.

4. 4/5Great Banking for Beginner Financial Training

   I downloaded the app to honestly have my first bank card my parents could not track and learn more about my personal finance habits; I achieved it and even brought my first move (to a new state) with this card! Awesome, I know but it has its downsides as it would help to have more cash back options than just 2 points per 1 dollar spent and truly more diversity with other brands out there but I love that regardless of its use the card has a look that has attracted a lot of people’s attention when I’m at airports, restaurants, or just around the city! I also love how you can use it mobile too, so you don’t have to worry about your card getting hacked or stolen! If I could add one thing to this card it would be a banking option where one could draw money from it without any fees applied but also I forgot to mention too: this card is perfect because when you win a scholarship you can have your money transferred to your card for university use and it only takes about 24 hours. So yeah, great for beginner use and learning yourself but there is always room for improvement!

   Bold has made searching and applying for scholarships much more convenient. The app is easy to navigate, the scholarship recommendations are relevant, and I appreciate how frequently new opportunities are added. It saves a lot of time by keeping everything organized in one place, making the scholarship search much less overwhelming. A few features that could make the app even better would be a more advanced scholarship tracker to monitor application status and deadlines, customizable notifications for new scholarships that match a student's profile, and more detailed feedback or updates on submitted applications whenever possible. It would also be helpful to have filters specifically for international students and renewable scholarships. Overall, Bold is an excellent resource for students looking to reduce the cost of their education. I highly recommend it to anyone serious about finding scholarship opportunities.
