1. 4/5Simple is better

   I used last year and this year’s AP daily. There were a few features this year that didn’t work for me. One, I never was able to select my favorite players. I tried restarting and reinstalling and neither worked. I use AP for daily schedule for matches. I don’t remember ever seeing daily schedule for activities around the grounds. Several times the practice schedule was incorrect, but I am guessing that’s not the AP issue. Last the timing of the release just a few days prior to start of tournament was not ideal. Overall, the ticket feature, schedule, and scores are what I find most useful.

2. 5/5Amazing experience in Indian Wells

   It was our first professional tennis match event. Definitely will be going back, my friends & I loved the atmosphere & the volunteers were so helpful, fun & pleasant!! Everyone in the event were amazing, the food, drinks & vendors were all great. Very well organized. I really enjoyed being able to attend the players practice session & the interaction with the players. Alcaraz was very nice & really enjoyed interacting with the fans!! I was hoping to see my Nadal but maybe there’s still hope. We were able to see men & women semifinals also & it was amazing!! Loved being there. It’s just amazing to see all the top women & men player participating here. Would love to see Agassi, Sampras, Edberg & McConroe in an exhibition match?? Maybe even Agassi Steffi Graff. Everyone was really enjoying & having a great time

3. 2/5The old app was much better

   I have no idea why they would roll out this new app right before the tournament but it is the worst. Even though I had an active account with the old app, I still can’t get an account with this new app despite multiple tries over a week-long period. (My son, who never had an account before, was able to create an account however - it’s all so random!) When I click on match details it won’t load and for one whole day the app wasn’t working so I just searched up matches on google. When I transferred a ticket to my son, it never worked so we basically lost a ticket. (Luckily it was just a qualifying day grounds pass.) I wish I could go back to the old app which was much more reliable and seamless! Hoping by next year’s tournament this app will be working!

4. 4/5Improved, but still some issues

   Practice schedules are much easier to find than the past version, which is a huge and much appreciated improvement. The map feature is improved over last year, but it would be a significant help if it had a locator dot for your current location to aid on-site navigation. The map should also have a direct link from anywhere on the app, rather than be buried in the “on site” tab. On-site WiFi needs to be beefed up so all app features are consistently available, even when crowds are large.

5. 1/5Indian wells tennis tourny

   I will never go back to the Indian Wells tennis tournament. We were there on Thursday, March 14 and we had purchased tickets for all the courts, when you purchase a ticket for stadium 1,you had access to stadium 2-8 but when we got there that day, they had changed the rules and were requiring a ticket for stadium 2 where all the good matches were being played. People were irate. The employees knew it was dishonest, but couldn’t do anything about it. No one was there to talk to and we had no choice but to buy another ticket and spend double the amount. Indian Wells has not refunded our money and I’m not sure if they’re going to. They said tickets are nonrefundable but when you change the rules after someone buys a ticket, then all rules are relevant. I would never trust them again. So dishonest.
