  1. 5/5Great app still growing

Was a beta tester for this app, I can really see this app coming together. The developer of the app takes the communities feedback very seriously which has helped the app a lot. He’s also incredibly fast to fix bugs and has put some great work in this app. This app has been the only one I’ll use for fishing, for finding small spots, looking at what fish large spots have, asking the ai what bait is best for the conditions and even just asking the built in ai wether or not fishing today is worth it. This app has some amazing features!

  2. 5/5Best fishing app I’ve ever used

As one of the original hundred beta founders and working with this app for over a few months now I can confidently say this is the best fishing app I’ve ever worked with. From the community that Bite has built to features the app provides, I 100% recommend to anyone who wants a fun online experience while fishing. I can’t wait to see what this app turns into in a few years.

  3. 5/5Serious potential

I love the app, the social page is WAY nicer to use and is more aesthetically pleasing I like the fish activity part of the app to, only thing I’d say is worse is the map but still good for looking for lakes/ponds overall a great app (I don’t know where to put this but I like how you can enter fishing tournaments I don’t really see that on other apps)

  4. 5/5Don’t miss out

Was a beta tester for the app and really watched the app grow into something you won’t want to miss out on. This app has all the data you need in one spot, it has communities to speak with friends you made on the app. It even has a shop. The app isn’t going to stop growing either. More things will be added post launch

  5. 5/5The best fishing app I’ve been on

I’ve been a beta founder/tester, and all I can say is that this app has it all, between an amazing fishing community with great people, to Pablo which is the ai helper which gives real time information on where and when to fish and with which baits are best for your water type (My favorite part). This app really is great.

I've been busy reeling in fixes and improvements based on your feedback: • Live tide data — What's Biting and bait ball predictions now pull real tide readings for your location • Refreshed Bait Ball Radar and Kelp Paddy Tracker (Pro) — cleaner map zones that are easy to tell apart, and redesigned detail cards • Fixed conditions sometimes showing "offline" even with a good connection • Fixed tapping a spot on the map opening two cards at once • Map controls no longer cover spot details • Improved Pro subscription reliability • Fixed several crashes and general stability improvements

  • 1.1

    - Marketplace is back to the cleaner two-up grid view - Faster, smoother photo posting - Founder accounts now correctly full Pro access - Subscriptions display correctly for active Pro members - Other anglers' profiles now match your own profile layout - Location prompt now shows the Bite app name - Create Community screen no longer hidden behind the nav bar - Fixed new account sign-up and email verification - General performance improvements and bug fixes

  • 1.1.1

A more alive map and a smoother sign-up. - Live map: your catches now stay on the map as their own pins instead of disappearing into nearby hotspots — and your own catches are always visible. We also fixed duplicate pins. - Private catches: catches you mark private now show as a purple pin only you can see. - Faster photos: images across the feed, profiles, and catch maps load faster and use less data. - Easier sign-up: added a Back button and an "I already have an account" shortcut, clearer guidance on what's required, and fixed a username-availability glitch. - Clearer email verification: the confirmation screen now shows live status while you wait and reminds you to check your spam folder. - Performance and reliability improvements under the hood.

  • 1.1.2

Performance improvements and refinements: - faster photo and avatar loading - smoother profile screens - better behavior on slow connections.

  • 1.1.3

What's New in 1.1.3 -More reliable launch: fixed an issue where the app could occasionally open to a blank screen — your feed, profile, and catches now load dependably every time. -Stronger location privacy: catches you mark Private or Hidden no longer reveal their spot when viewed by others. -Following now sticks everywhere — your follows stay in sync across the feed, profiles, and Discover, and tapping an angler opens their full profile. -Smoother, faster community chats, with Founder and Pro badges now showing in real time. -Easier to join and create communities — fixed a glitch that could wrongly block eligible members. -Profile pages cleaned up so content no longer bleeds past the header while scrolling. -Performance and stability improvements.

  • 1.1.4

What's New - SALTWATER DEPTH CHARTS -Bite scores are now a single 0–10 number across the whole app — no more percentages. -Every hotspot shows Now, Day average, and Best Time (with the peak window). -The home "Today's Bite" screen uses the same Now / Day / Best Time breakdown, so it matches your spot details. -"Hot Bite at This Spot" now scores the spot you're viewing, factoring in recent catches there.

  • 1.1.5

What's New - More reliable launches — fixed an issue where the app could open to an empty screen instead of loading your feed. - Bite scores are now one clear 0–10 number across the whole app — no more percentages. - Every hotspot and the home "Today's Bite" now show the bite right now, the day's average, and the best time window. - "Hot Bite at This Spot" now reflects the spot you're viewing. - Added fishing spots across more states so rural areas aren't left blank on the map. - Cleaner Hot Bite tab and minor polish.

  • 1.1.8

Updates: - Tournaments now show one free and one paid event at a time — no more clutter - Paid tournaments judge by biggest and most fish (no species restriction) - Smarter Fish ID — richer results with confidence and ID tips - Cleaner species rarity tags on spots - Community chat now stays pinned to the newest message - Your profile loads with a spinner instead of a blank screen - More reliable sign-in during brief connection hiccups - Bug fixes and performance improvements

  • 1.1.9

What's New in 1.1.9 - Fixed the blank screen on reopen. If you'd left Bite in the background for a while, your feed and profile could come back empty. The app now refreshes your session and reloads your feed, profile, and follows the moment you return. -Hot Bite scores now line up everywhere. Your Today rating, the calendar, and the 7-day outlook all read from the same engine, so the numbers finally match. -Smarter "What's Biting." Species and techniques are now matched to your actual spot — no more "troll for bonito in the harbor" — and we cleaned out the bad 0% entries. - Redesigned Conditions tab. A new plain-English "Bite Read" up top tells you what's working for or against you, with a cleaner layout for water, wind, swell, pressure, solunar, and visibility. - Likes now sync correctly between the feed and catch detail view. -Smoother pull-to-refresh — no more accidental refreshes while scrolling. - Performance and stability improvements.
