1. 5/5Recruited by an inmate...

   A family member told me about BIGO LIVE. I was excited to check it out and when I did I absolutely loved it. I have an autoimmune disease so it’s extremely hard to get out and socialize so this app was awesome for that. It was easy to meet new people with the same interests as me and people with different interests than me. I loved it! Two weeks on the app, I decided to become a host. Boom! Audition went great! But soon I found out that my recruiter is an inmate in an correctional facility and that is against BIGO LIVE rules. Now I’m in limbo with this inmate and the agency he has placed me in illegally according to BIGO LIVE. I was placed in these entities without my choosing. I did not know he was an inmate and surprisingly there’s lots of inmates on this app. The agency that’s incahoots with this inmate is unprofessional and unorganized and they are refusing to release me as a broadcaster/host. Once you are in an agency, you can not change agencies. My dreams of being successful have been destroyed bcuz I am absolutely refusing to be associated with these entities now that I know what’s really going on. I really enjoyed the app itself but the people on it sometimes are not the best. I have tried to find/contact BIGO LIVE to report this issue but it’s so bot driven, there’s no support email or contact number; I just don’t think they care. So please be careful when deciding to be apart of the app and its communities, especially if you become a host. You never know who you’ll be stuck with especially if they aren’t doing the right thing. It’s seems to be easier to do the wrong thing instead of the right thing in this app. Good luck, guys!

2. 3/5Enjoyable for people watching.

   It’s definitely fun to just watch. But the “rules” if you interact are hard to grasp. Some guys get banned for not having a shirt on, nothing sexual but it’s called a “pornographic violation”. I understand cultural differences, but women nearly bearing breasts and putting a show on on camera to attract men viewers is fine. Also live feeds, like I said, men showing too much skin is a “pornographic violation”, literally; but you can say or message anything in the public feed. I’ve seen curse words, heard disgusting racist rants, and out right offensive sexual descriptions., none was banned or censored. BUT in private chat, (1 person to 1 person) not public, curse words and anything related to sex is censored (if this review was in private chat it would be censored because of mentioning “breast”, but not censored in public), yet you can actually send outright porn in private, but you can’t say the words, you get censored. The rules make no sense if you think about them, completely irrational. As far as using it day to day, there seems to be arbitrary, secret numbers. Some days I can view and follow (not really sure) 50 people. Today I logged in for the first time in two days and I followed 1 person. Tried a second one but was told I reached my daily follow limit, try again tomorrow. I guess today my limit is one? But tomorrow could be 50? Same with contacting people that you do t follow. No rules anywhere on limits, just whenever BIGO decides at the moment. This is really the weirdest app as far as rules go. There seems to be no rules, just whims of the owners.

3. 3/5Absolutely Zero Moderation

   So, I like this app, it gives people a chance to have conversation, make friends and be a part of a community. But lately I have been seeing more and more accounts pop up from scrolling livestreams that are being broadcasted by minors. I’m not talking about the required age of 17 type of minor either. I am talking about kids, CHILDREN that are openly admitting their age on their livestreams. And in their chats are people that are saying extremely vulgar and crude things to them on a live broadcast. I try to do my due diligence by 1: Reporting the broadcaster for an option in the drop down menu for being underage. Then bigo takes about three minutes to respond and usually sends a message saying “we have confirmed that [so-and-so] is an adult” because they lied about their age when signing up for the app and no further moderation is done to prevent CHILDREN from live streaming on an app that is FILLED with pedophiles. I also do my due diligence by 2. Reporting the users that have decided to send vulgar and suggestive messages to the underage broadcaster but I have no option of reporting their chats in a live. THIS APP NEEDS BETTER MODERATION FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BEFORE IT TURNS INTO A SAFE PLACE FOR PEDOPHILES TO SPEAK WITH MINORS WITH NO REPERCUSSIONS. Maybe some form of verification of age should be put into place to avoid CHILDREN live-streaming to PEDOPHILES.

   Bigo app Should be removed a lot of illegal activity goes on on this app and bigo don’t care they allow people to discriminate on people race and bigo don’t care so many people have reported to bigo that someone that goals live up under MS Draya1 he discriminate on black people whenever they don’t send him cash app and bigo don’t care this man is still going live every day so I don’t know how other people are getting banned they will not ban him and if I could attach a video I would he’s on there every day discriminating on black people I believe they are enjoying black people being discriminated on they would never let someone sit up there every day and talk about a white person every day when they don’t send cash app people also is driving to people homes on their and recording they are fighting on bigo and bigo don’t care people are abusing cash app and PayPal rules on there and bigo don’t care and the problem I’m reporting next to the IRS is nobody is paying taxes on the money that they are receiving from this app who can get $24 ,000 a month in America and don’t have to pay taxes that is illegal just like the people on there bullying people for cash app that’s illegal I’m gonna continue to writing to everybody on this app Because someone is going to be hurt from this app hello post my review so people can see this app is racist and they do have favoritism because they are not enforcing the rules on everyone I will get another Apple ID and post another review

5. 2/5confused and frustrated

   so much to be said about this app and the experience i am having I am very grateful that finally someone did something that exposes all of the best and worst moments of eveyone this is how I feel about the app matter of a fact not just a feeling but reality hits the fan Just today has one of many reasons I say You Must Be Seeing Things Again No I am not I have one Question Why? that goes for all the small quantities of wondering minds and for the remainder that don’t care and just keep going I am one who wants to see the Deal (real reasons) why someone can be without a shirt that is to just say a little question The rest i don’t have the time and who cares hahah not so fast I care So how and why is this not user friendly it is so hard to operate this for me at least i do t care about all the dragons or flys or what ever is sent lol remember when you click on something excepting you might get the answer when something could be hidden Oh don’t tell me that is impossible or not happened thinking outside of the box here for a min this is a perfect way to do so much good If you are confused good if not you know what i am talking ablut and will be transparent as i am or try to be we all need some privacy now and again
