5/5Great product
We bought this app for our eight-year-old baseball travel team. The boys absolutely loved it. They chose different music from iTunes for their walk on songs and had so much fun. The best part though is definitely having the professional announcer say the boys numbers and names. Although this is about three dollars extra per Player it is totally worth it! It makes it so much more professional. The app is easy to use and I absolutely love it. We sync with a Bluetooth speaker at any of the parks that we go to. The only improvement I wish is that it would be nice to be able to slide the players up and down in the lineup for when there are lineup changes but this is minor since you can work around it with a few extra clicks. Love this app! We have been using this app for over a year and it has gotten even better! Now you can slide the lineup around under the edit function, can add just a few additional players for voicing (when kids join the team or guest play), voicing turnaround time is fantastic and with the iPad update we use that so any mom at the game can run it rather than just though my phone...just keeps getting better!

4/5Great app, however…
I really love this app. However, I have some issues that I believe could be fixed to make this app 5 plus stars. 1) something that would really be awesome would be the ability to “fade in” a song with the announcement. Some players want their song to start at a specific time. The ability to “fade in” a song would make the song with announcement sound so much smoother and more professional. 2) I cannot find the ability to do a “text to speech” announcement like other walk up apps. I only see the ability to record our own voice or purchase professional voices. Having the option to do text to speech announcements would be great. 3) when editing the song with the announcement there is a slider bar at the bottom that enables the song/speech to be even volumed or one louder than the other. I am finding that in my opinion, the option to have the voice announcement louder then the song, and then, once the voice announcement is over, the song volume should automatically increase would be awesome. I have been choosing the “even” option. It is usually adequate for most walk up intros. However, sometimes when even is selected you can barely hear the voice over the music. Then I will move the slider to try a louder voice. But then the music volume is to low after the announcement is done. That is why having the ability to have the music automatically increase after the announcement is over would be super beneficial. I really like this app and feel that having an update to address these 3 issues would put this app over the top. Thank you for considering my suggestions…

5/5Perfect App, even better customer service
I have been using this app for about 2 years now for travel baseball. Recently, I decided to purchase the voiceover for the intros and I was not disappointed. The quality is unquestionable and it’s great that it comes from a MLB stadium announcer. When I tried it myself, my voice sounded like a dying wildebeest and there was no way I was going that route. The app is very simple to use and I love how you can overlap the announcer/music and control the song to exactly your liking. It quickly displays your music already on your device, with various ways to organize songs. I recommend this to any coach out there, as the kids love hearing their names out loud followed by their favorite song. In the two years of using this, not once has it crashed or suffered from ‘bugs’. More importantly I wanted to stress the unbelievable service I received from the developer and Mr. Motter. I purchased 13 voice intros roughly 3 days ago and just noticed hours before game time I put the wrong number on a player. I emailed my issue expecting at least a couple of days to get it fixed, but they fixed it within the hour! Casey Motter even followed up to ensure the accuracy, you don’t get that service in these times. I can’t thank you guys enough and I highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone. Money well spent! Thanks Again, Go Nats!

5/5FANTASTIC Customer Service
I’ve been using Ballpark DJ to play walk-up songs for my sons baseball team for a couple seasons now and it’s extremely user friendly. My daughter just started softball and I volunteered to do walk-up songs for her team as well using BallparkDJ and they requested voicing intros on top of the walk-up songs which was new to me. I didn’t realize that you could record your own voicing along with the option to order professional voicing so I went ahead and ordered professional voicing. When I realized I didn’t have to buy professional voicing after the fact, Ballpark DJ’s support team (Jack specifically) was extremely supportive and very quick to reply to my questions and needs. I will recommend this app to literally everyone who needs this kind of service! Top quality app for sure.

5/5Outstanding Customer Service
Not going to lie, the app for me was a little tricky. I got the basics down and have it doing what I need to do, but it’s capable of so much more. I ordered the pro-voicing, have some of the walk up songs loaded and it sounds great. You can select the size of the song, fade the music, soften the music during the announcement and also set an order for the announcement and the music. It’s a really cool app and I’m enjoying it. Only have one gliche sometimes the music won’t play, but I reached out to support and they are already looking into it. Customer service is extremely responsive and helpful. Also, my pro-voicing was done in less than 24 hours. Thank you Chad & Ballpark DJ! I highly recommend this app the $6.99 for the app and the $ for the pro-voicing is worth it!

If you continue to experience a volume-fluctuation issue after upgrading and turning on EVR+, please contact support. If you are using the JBL 320 and do not have EVR+ turned on, you will receive several notifications recommending that you turn on EVR+.

- Music Wizard – Music Wizard makes music setup and selection a breeze by linking the process with our monthly Top 500 Songs list. This feature is especially valuable for iOS users with Apple Music. The Music Wizard button can be found in the Edit Music screen, just below the iTunes / Apple Music button, and provides the following options: Random Top Song, Top Songs, Match Player, and Match Team. These options are designed to simplify music setup for a variety of situations. For more details on each option and what they offer, visit: https://www.ballparkdj.com/music-wizard - Show Song Info – A new option is available in the Actions > System Settings screen: Show Song Info. This setting defaults to OFF, but when turned ON, it will persistently display both the song title and artist below each player’s name. If a player is already set up with the song title as their first name, only the artist will appear beneath the song title. Users can also quickly toggle Show Song Info by double-tapping the team name at the top of the team screen. - Key Events Teams/Players – Key Event teams are special teams created from SuperVoice gold teams via Actions > Duplicate Team. Key Events provide the perfect intros for major moments in each sport—like touchdowns in football or goals, assists, power plays, and one-minute warnings in hockey. Key Events are only available for teams that have ordered pro-voicing with SuperVoice, and can only be accessed through the Duplicate Team action of a gold SuperVoice team. The available Key Event selections vary by sport, and we’re continuing to expand options across all sports over time. For more information on the selections and what they produce, visit: https://www.ballparkdj.com/key-events - SuperVoice Components Limit Increased – As part of the Key Events implementation, we’ve increased the limit on SuperVoice components from 4 to 5 in the Edit Voice screen. Now, when SuperVoice is turned on, up to five team/player components can be combined to produce the intro. - Pause Music – When a player is set up with music only (no voice), a new PAUSE button appears below the STOP button during playback. Tapping PAUSE will fade out and stop the song, and a RESUME button will appear to continue playback from the paused point. Note: PAUSE is not currently available for players set up with voice intros. - DJ Shortcut – When a team is open, double-tapping the team name at the top will open the DJ Shortcuts menu, giving you quick access to key display options, as well as Team Settings and System Settings. The display options currently available in the DJ Shortcut menu include: • Custom Fonts • Show/Hide Song Info • Light/Dark Mode • Show/Hide Jersey

Long‑press a button and select “Edit Player Color”. Coloring options include Color This Player, Row, Column, Group, Checkerboard, All, and Tap to Color. The Color Group option colors all contiguous buttons sharing the same color. An “Uncolor All” option is available to remove all Player Colors at once. – FreeForm Drag & Drop - FreeForm mode transforms the SoundBoard into a flexible grid where buttons can be placed anywhere on the screen. The long‑press menu now includes Insert Row Above and Insert Row Below. To move a button, long‑press, then drag and drop it to your desired location. – Grid Columns - SoundBoard Studio settings include an option for Grid Columns, which controls how many players appear across each row. iPhone supports up to 6 columns, while iPad supports up to 8. • Sort by Genre or Decade (SoundBoard Studio) - When in SoundBoard Studio mode, 2 new options have been added to the Actions > Advanced > Sort Team menu: Sort by Genre and Sort by Decade. These will not only group the players/songs by genre or decade, but they also automatically color and label each group. Watch a new comprehensive Instructional Video on SoundBoard studio at https://www.ballparkdj.com/soundboard • Music Wizard - Play Full from Start (All) - The Music Wizard menu in the Edit Music screen now has a new selection of "Play Full from Start (All) which results in setting all song on the team to "Play Full Song" and sets the start offset to the beginning of the song (0:00). This is especially valuable when importing the Top 100 Walk-Up Songs, which are by default, set to start at the preferred start time for walk-ups, and set to play for 30 seconds. • Play On Loop - A new "Play on Loop" option is available via a swipe right on the PLAY button. This will result in that player playing continually on a loop until the user taps STOP. This can especially be useful for certain sound effects (or if you really want to annoy the other team during a mound visit!). • Gray On Play - only for songs >1m - A new option has been added to the SoundBoard Studio settings to use Gray on Play "only for songs > 1m". When this is turned on, only songs/audio files that are longer than 1 minute will be grayed after being played. This allows for user to mix sound effects with full songs on a team while using Gray on Play. Gray on Play will only impact the songs (> 1m) while not graying the shorter sound effects which are often played more than once per game. • SoundBoard Studio Mode - Studio Mode elevates your SoundBoard with a cleaner, more customizable layout that maximizes screen space and gives you full creative control.
