   I recently attended an event that had a contract with BallerTV to use their service to cover all the competition rings during the event. I think the company has a lot of potential, I know that the company uses semi and professional quality equipment. However there are things that the company does, that keeps the company from blowing up and succeeding to the fullest potential, here are the cons I have found - the company uses newer iPhones to cover the events. while the newer iPhones provides good quality, camera technology, it’s not considered to be professional equipment, the live video feed that is being taken from the iPhone has heavy software edits which has limitations - the company uses 180° wide angle iPhone lenses, while 180° is great to cover the area, it does provide a ton of distortion, low quality resolution and even more. - in order for you to watch the live stream, the only way to is through the app. -despite having to pay for a pass to watch the event, you can technically watch previews that last a minute and the timer does reset. So technically you can watch the livestream without paying for a pass, despite the advertisement of paying for a pass, to watch the event. My thoughts, this company has a lot of potential but does constantly limit the ability to grow and expand the quality and audience.

   I’ve rarely come across an app as frustrating and unreliable as BallerTV. The entire point of paying for a service like this is to watch games yet somehow, that’s the one thing it consistently fails to deliver. Games are frequently missing altogether, with no explanation. When they are available, buffering issues make them nearly unwatchable. It’s not just occasional lag it’s constant interruptions that completely ruin the experience. Even worse, there are times when only fragments of a game are recorded, cutting off key moments or entire halves. That’s unacceptable for a paid service that markets itself as a reliable platform for sports coverage. For the price, this app feels like a complete waste of money. Instead of providing convenience, it creates a headache. You’re left wondering if the game will show up, if it will stream properly, or if you’ll only get a few random clips instead of the full event. At this point, it’s hard to recommend BallerTV to anyone. Until major improvements are made to reliability, streaming quality, and consistency, this service falls far short of what it promises and what users are paying for.

   I was very disappointed with BallerTv. I had purchased BallerTv because my husband works out of state and my sons grandparents live out state. Well the magic link didn’t work. I missed most of son’s game trying to get it to work for everyone. Only person who finally got it was my husband and come to find out they had the courts miss labeled. I reached out right away with my concerns and frustrations. They did not seem to care told me they can see activity on my account so therefore they would not give me a refund. And I explained that they had the wrong games they sent me the links for my son’s game. That is not the point to BallerTv everyone wanted to see my sons game live and couldn’t. I thought it would be easier to work with them since I emailed right away but it wasn’t. So again I don’t recommend it. But if you do get hopefully they have their courts right and the magic link works.

4. 1/5Not worth the price for football games

   Downloaded the app to watch my son play in a tournament that I wasn’t able to attend. The quality of the video was horrible. I couldn’t tell what kid was on the field and most of the time the camera didn’t follow the ball. The score of the game or how much time was left was never updated. Maybe I had to upgrade for that? In the background I could hear coaches and parents yelling and cussing. The price to download the app didn’t allow for live streaming which I had to pay extra for a 3 month subscription for a one weekend tournament. It’s better to have a parent video the game than to download this app. Maybe for other sports it’s clearer, but highly recommend not worth it for football games. Also, it wouldn’t allow me to login to the app to watch the games live. I had to reset my password each time which took me to my default browser to watch the videos.

   Second year. This year they charge for 3 months, knowing that 99% of the customers need it to just watch one tournament. But who cares. There is no competition and alternative. Does not matter that people are complaining in comments for years. That’s just do what they want with pricing. Last year I was so mad to miss the game. This year I woke up at 6AM to watch a game (diff time zone) and stream died in 15 mins into the game. It did not restart even though support said we will send the crew. So I missed the game second year. It is absolutely ridiculous how bad the user experience is and they are still in business for years. I scrolled through the comments and was shocked how bad is feedback - and these dudes can’t make it working well. We need more one star reviews so at least Apple will reach out to them and remove their garbage from App Store and let someone else develop a great service.
