1. 5/5Great service; minor technical UX improvements — caution re: country of residence!

   Speaking only for India tourist visa and my experience using the app - Atlys’ service for obtaining my visa was well worth the cost for the convenience and time saved. I’d looked at the requirements and steps to apply for a tourist visa to visit India independently and was overwhelmed with where to start and encountered many questions as I started the process. E,g., I ran into issues with my name not fitting the required character limit. I pivoted to try the Atlys app and it couldn’t have been easier. I entered my passport country, scanned my passport and took a selfie and received my approved visa less than 24 hours later. HOWEVER, the app prompts me to select my country most times I open it. I applied for my visa with my U.S. passport, but am currently living in Europe. My quote after entering my nationality was around $80 USD total. Only after I poked around and switched my country of residence under my profile settings did the cost adjust. I ended up paying around 16€ upon starting the process then 22€ to obtain my visa once it was approved. I’m not sure why this is, but it is a significant price difference - so be sure to confirm where you will be traveling from if it’s not the same as your nationality!

   Atlys has truly redefined the travel preparation experience with its innovative visa scanner feature, which left me thoroughly impressed. My favorite part is how they use OCR to meticulously check all the details on the approved visa, ensuring that everything is correct and in order. This level of detail provides immense peace of mind, knowing that any potential issues can be identified and resolved well before my departure date. I can also verify my visa on the government website since they provide me with the reference number on the app. Additionally, the inclusion of an emergency hotline adds an extra layer of security and support, making me feel valued and cared for as a customer. One area that could enhance the user experience is the response time on the non-emergency hotline; making this service available 24/7 with shorter waiting times would be incredibly beneficial for urgent issues. Despite this, Atlys stands out for its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, making it an indispensable tool for international travelers.

3. 2/5How important is accuracy? Not helpful in a pinch.

   I was having issues with the official Vietnam e-visa portal not processing my application after several attempts which is why I download Atlys. The process of filling out the new app on Atlys was easy enough along with payment. After submitting, I promptly got an email asking what my entry port would be because Vietnam is typically strict with that so I replied “Hanoi.” Waited several days until the ETA date (again accurate as to when I received my passport). Realized after checking through the PDF that they had the wrong port of entry (Van Don) rather than Hanoi which I thought was surprising given I literally had an email conversation that I clarified during. Tried to reach out via email to get this fixed with 2 days to my flight which had me very stressed all the way up until my arrival in Vietnam, the support email did not reply to me regarding this and I was left to just figure it out on my own. Now, everything just so happened to work out okay because I got in late and the immigration officer didn’t really bother looking at my visa, but had I seen a different person or had a different experience I may have had a lot more trouble to deal with. If you go through Atlys, do it with plenty of time to figure out potential issues that may arise. I went through the official portal one month in advance and only resorted to Atlys last minute bc I was having problems with that.

5. 1/5Dishonest business

   I loaded Atlys app and paid them $1,841 to obtain residency in Portugal. They were very good in replying to me in a timely manner however, when I asked why NIF documents and opening bank account is delaying and they are the most important documents in the entire process. Atlys emailed me to contact the company that issue these documents, even they are the one taking my money. I contact Bordr which is the company that issues NIF and open bank account in Portugal. Bordr was so professional. I learned that Atlys charges me $350 for My NF while it’s only $150 and I don’t have to open bank account until I arrive in Portugal. Atlys charged me $450 while Atlys charging $450 to open bank account. I contacted Atlys asking for credit and to my surprise, they threatened me if I dispute the charges on my credit card they will make sure to let Portugal consulate know that I am no good and I will I’ll not be able to open bank account. Also, they lied to my bank and told them that they paid Bordr this amount on my behalf. I contacted Bordr and they informed me that they refunded all the money back to Atlys. My bank believed Atlys and ruled in their favour. Atlys kept my money and told me that they will not refund me even they didn’t provide services. Very dishonest and fraudulent company.👎🏻
