   Assignr has completely transformed the way I manage and interact with referee assignments, and the mobile app takes it to another level. From an assignor perspective, everything is streamlined! Game management, communication, and real-time changes are all handled effortlessly. No more spreadsheets or scattered systems. It’s all in one place, and it works. Where the app really shines is for referees in the field. It keeps you fully connected while onsite with instant access to everything you need—assignment details, special notes, rules of competition, and even custom field maps uploaded directly by the assignor. That’s a huge differentiator. You’re not guessing where your field is or digging through emails, everything is right there, including built-in integration with Apple Maps or Google Maps for quick navigation. After the game right from the sideline after the match, you can submit match reports, log yellow/red cards, and handle all post-game admin without ever leaving the app. Then after the game, I can even see when I get paid for the game! It’s fast, efficient, and exactly how this process should work. If you’re an assignor or referee, this isn’t just a convenience—it’s a must-have tool that makes game day smoother from start to finish.

2. 5/5Best ref assignor app available

   This app is so easy to use. I love the interface, the calendaring, everything about it from being able to access from a web browser or mobile app. This is top-notch. One suggestion it’s frustrating when I add my availability. I constantly have to select which assignors I’m making myself available for. It would be nice if the default for availability was for the Assignr site that you’re signed in with And if you want to open your availability to other Assignr then be able to go in and make that change. Just a suggestion.

3. 5/5The best platform out there, but still not optimal

   I’ve used several assigning platforms and Assignr is by far the best that I’ve used. That said the management of recurring availability is very challenging. Once you set up recreants you can’t edit all the recurrences simultaneously. So for example, if you want to edit locations in all of your availability, you can’t do that you need to reset everything, and that requires resetting any exceptions that you’ve made in your recurring schedule.

4. 4/5Just a few things missing from being perfect

   I don’t mind most of the app, overall it functions pretty well and I have yet to have any major issues with it. I just wish that you could view other referee’s reports for your game (in case you didn’t remember who got a yellow card or by how much did one team win). When you’re in separate organizations it also feels too divided, but there isn’t much wrong with that I suppose. Overall it works great, payment is built in and all I would need for five stars is to be able to view my co-referee’s reports.

5. 5/5Great app for Officials

   We have been using a Assignr for about a month and find it easy to use and intuitive with a clean interface, great resources and easy to find answers using the questions section. The mobile app is also easy to use with a great interface. This is by far the best officials web-based and mobile app I have been able to use over the last 10 years.
