1. 5/5Pretty Awesome but…

   I went ahead and bought the full version of the app. I created several logos that were really cool and exported out to EPS where I could fully manage them in Adobe illustrator which was really cool. There were quite a few logos that weren’t cool at all which happens with AI stuff. unfortunately now it seems like I can’t save any of the logos I’m creating and I created a really cool one for a client and I can’t download it from the app which is very irritating it just says ‘save failed’ Otherwise the app seems like it’s heading in the right direction and well worth 30 bucks or so. If they fix this save failed message. Update: whatever little hiccup was going on with me not being able to download has resolved itself after about 48 hours. The only problem I can really find is even when you put text and quotes you would think when you have it in quotes it would spell it exactly correct lol but still well worth the tool for your graphic design aresenal for good starting points.

   Get descriptive avoid the word logo in descriptions and use keywords and what you want your business or ideas to symbolize. It takes the words and ideas and symbolizes them. You’ll see! It’s worth it to get the pro for 1 yr, if you say no to the first crazy prices. Don’t knock their marketing strategy, they have to make their money to. If you see bad reviews, no offense to everyone who this may apply to, it may be to the lack of the ability to express what they want. It’s Ai, learn how it works so you can make it work like you want it to. Don’t use words like I want a, logo with, etc. it already know you want simmering and it’s already generating logos…just some tips. Good job developers. Don’t know the copywriting laws around this, but you are paying, so…I’m definitely going to look into it to make sure it’s fine to actually use.

3. 1/5Not for Ethnic, Cultural, or Black Nonprofits.

   So I wanted to try this company out in order to figure out what our brand would look like through somebody else. Not because we want to change but because I was just curious. The one thing I noticed is that it doesn’t really recognize nonprofits. It also doesn’t really recognize any kind of ethnic or cultural or black businesses who are in education or who are doing afterschool programs or any kind of ethnic, cultural, or black events. That’s a problem for when the AI is generating because it should know about these kind of topics if you’re going to create logos for different businesses. It also doesn’t really recognize nonprofits and doesn’t know how to do it. It becomes stuck and is not really experienced. If you are one of these businesses and you want to re-create your brand, I would suggest using ChatGPT because that was be so much better for. ChatGPT works way better than this app for these types of businesses. Our nonprofit is called Please Don’t Die Black Men but our pseudonym is PDDBM. PDDBM is a nonprofit empowering Black youth through creative afterschool programs in fashion design, film, and journalism. We promote cultural pride, equity, and entrepreneurship while addressing systemic racism and uplifting young voices.

4. 1/5Ap does not function as shown- misspelling & not worth it

   After seeing the ad for this app, it looked very promising, and it looked like it did some unique things with signature. When I put in my company name and industry, which is quite straightforward, it repeatedly misspelled my last name, repeatedly misspelled my first name and then it would put multiples of either the first or the last name I tried, about six different versions of ways of listing my name and the industry and I tried selecting many different options as far as the style of logo. None of them were anything close to acceptable or anything that I would use I was disappointed and that it was a complete waste of money, there was no free trial option and they should have some kind of guarantee because it doesn’t do anything close to what it said it would do. the logos were based on very generic templates that look like something you could get on a very cheap site. I was hoping this would at least be a little bit unique or custom. I didn’t have big expectations for the price, but I thought at least maybe I’d get one or two things I could use nothing was usable so I canceled.

   Bought the Pro version of the app, it’s great, yes it does take some time to generate depending on how complex of what you have asked for…. I have learned real quick in making logos with this to separate each idea and ask the AI to focus on that one task, then come back and combine each imagine I have had it create…. I do ask it to do some combination work, but I have found when it combines an image with text, that you cannot edit the text. (Wait let me clarify…You can ask it to AI edit Just the text, but save you current logo before you do, because even through you are asking it to edit the text in a certain way, I have found that it slightly modifies everything… Like one time it did edit the text but gave the horse in my logo and extra leg….. ha ha :)…) I would encourage Arvin to consider making the text editable without AI if possible. For instance I had a logo with one word, but the AI had created a Space in the word that made it appear to look like 2 words almost. I love the logo it created so I had to take the high quality download of that logo to another program to be able to fix the Spacing issue… What I love about the app for me is that it helps to generate ideas that I can work from and create… unfortunately, I am so ADD it easy to get lost in the different selections they have to choose from, but at times the Generation is a little long. So Ability to adjust text, and a quicker Generation speed. That would be why it’s a 4 star for me… other than that.. this app is really great creative tool…. if you use it, and you might consider less complex commands, Also might be helpful to get prompt commands from Arvin to better instruct the AI if that is something that helps the customer.
