1. 3/5Lots of oppty to make better

   Why they didn’t let smart phone wallets do the heavy lifting, Idnk. The “way” is not to have your own app, but to use a centralized wallet like Apple Wallet. Why maintain separate wallets?? Would a guy carry his ID in one wallet, his credit card in another?? I understand they have applied for Apple Wallet future inclusion so that’s good news. I will switch over when that’s ready. My license tonight took 5 mins to complete - including verification. One big problem I ran into, isn’t the app, but the low quality of the physical license itself. Our licenses have blurry transparent coatings. I’ve noticed even taking a photo (not to do with this app), the license blurs badly on any camera. That part almost caused failure of doing this process for me. I solved it by pulling the phone back slightly and the app was able to sharpen the image. It will tell you if you pulled back too far or got too close, etc. Now we need to include our CHLs, our car registrations and insurance cards. THAT would be cool.

   AR law enforcement needs just an app to where we can scan the DL and not have to have the mobile id app. Some of us have work phones and would put that app on our work phones. If you won’t make just a sole scanner app make it to where we can put the app on two devices for this issue.

3. 1/5No scannable barcode

   So I work as a gas station cashier, and we often get people in who forget their IDs, and under Arkansas law we have to scan everyone’s ID, regardless of age. I was hoping this app would provide the front and back cover of the ID so that we could scan it and it could be legally applicable, but this app only adds the information from the ID rather than having full digital copies of the front and back of your ID, making it non-applicable at our stores. Louisiana, Colorado, and other states have apps where you can scan the barcodes directly from the app, this feels like a misleading effort if this app cannot provide this essential basic of mobile ID apps, and this has earned its one star rating by falling below the expected standards provided by other mobile ID apps. This rating and review will be deleted once the app is updated to comply with expected standards.

4. 2/5I love that it’s here, but needs Wallet integration

   It works, but you need to find and open the app. It doesn’t make a lot of sense for this app NOT to integrate with the Wallet. To the dev team: PassKit APIs are not that hard to work with, and would really make this worth using. To the AR desk jockeys who are calling shots on this project: I get that you’re probably old and out of touch, but make wallet integration a priority on this. This seems like a white label product that is rebranded for numerous states, and the fact that they haven’t thought to integrate with Wallet is a red flag and a half.

5. 1/5Cannot add to iPhone wallet.

   This app was seen with lots of hope. Once downloaded and running, I looked all over for the “Add to Wallet” button. Unfortunately, this app does not have that capability. The developer says it is in the works, but that seems like a feature that should have been operational before launching the app. Now, you have to search your phone for the app and, if you’re like me, have way too many apps in the phone. It would have been so much easier for an “Add to Wallet” option at launch.
