  1. 5/5Nearly ideal

Excellent tool, a near perfect replacement for Lookmark. It even has push notifications for free, which is a big deal. There are only four features that would make it completely perfect for me, two of which exist in Lookmark already. 1: Popping up an app’s App Store page within the wishlist app when you want to open it. Lookmark does this, but it’s not too important: it’s more a QoL issue than a genuine UX flub, gets slightly annoying when checking through a few apps on the list in rapid succession. 2: Being able to add app bundles. Lookmark technically does this (it adds the apps in the bundle, where Apps Wish List throws an error), but I’d like to be able to add a bundle directly. Bundles often have much lower prices than buying their contents separately, and can contain many apps of interest that would take significantly longer to add separately, making this a genuine UX concern if it can be solved. 3: Being able to manually sort your wishlist. Lookmark does not have this. I used it’s “unread” feature to mark must-have items in the list (which Apps Wish List does not have either), but being able to manually sort the important stuff to the top would be much better. This is an actual UX issue, but not a huge one for most people. It really bothers me, but I’m strange. 4: Being able to make notes on apps, e.g. adding a free app to your wishlist and noting that you’re waiting until you can purchase a given IAP (even though I don’t think you can price track that). This isn’t exactly even an issue, it’s just that extra little touch that would make it absolutely perfect.

  2. 5/5Wishes from the Developer!! 🙏

I am an app connoisseur and have so many apps to keep track of on several different subjects, utilities, art, shopping, engineering, and so forth. Would you kindly add the capability to sort/organize in different categories or folders, or maybe even just tags? I'd install them all if I had enough space and money to do so. But for now, an organized list will do. Certainly better than my other solution which is throwing them all haphazardly into notepad to save the links, but when I need something I can rarely find it. I also move tablets often and prefer a clean install. So additionally, I could make a list of my core-competence or must have apps rather than trying to find selected ones under "my purchased apps" list in the App Store. So with that in mind, could you make it so that your data gets backed up in the cloud or maybe export a data file? That would be amaza-balls!! You could even charge a buck for the premium features and buy me a beer for the recommendations! Kidding! Much appreciated from a fellow product developer. And keep up the great work!, BillFromBuffalo

  3. 5/5Exactly what I was looking for!

I was terrible about downloading a bunch of apps at once and then never use them. I would forget about the amount of storage they take up on my iPhone. Sometimes I would save them on a note in my phone, but this is a million times better. Now I just add them to this wish list and if I decide I definitely want them, they can easily be found here. Lastly, it alerts you when apps go on sale! There are a couple of apps that I would like to have, but can’t justify the price. Thank you to the creators of this app for being so kind to offer it free of charge! I highly recommend! 🧡

  4. 5/5Great stuff.

This app is excellent. It keeps track of apps you may want to buy in the future...and will even alert you when prices fall. (Price tracking is something other apps charge a subscription for!) Also, the developer is quick to respond. Recently, it started popping an “Unable to Add” warning every time you tried to wish list an app. In less than a week from the time I posted my low rating complaining about the bug, an update was deployed to fix it and the developer reached out with a response. If you miss the App Store’s Wish List functionality, I recommend giving WISH LIST a try.

  5. 5/5Nice!!! Let’s You Track App Prices

Thank you to the developer for this great app. This is the third review I’ve written for it and I’m not sure why the other ones have been taken down, especially since they were both positive. Anyway, Wish List will save you money! It’s easy to enter those apps you wish to track for price changes or are considering for later purchase. Unfortunately, the notifications feature does not seem to work. Still, a partial work around is to sort by discount so downward price moves will appear at the top. Then, check it daily. A Wish List for the next Wish List Release: Restore notifications functionality. Provide a way to arbitrarily group or categorize subsets of listed apps. Flag when a listed app is already on or has been added to the device. Indicate whether the app has in app purchases. Are these ever discounted?
